Echo kicked a pebble.

"...I guess so."

"Is that a bad thing."

"...I'm not so sure... of it's good...or bad..."

"I guess I don't."

"I usually don't think about it. Do you know yourself?"

Echo didn't smile back, but instead a rather dark look came across her expression.

"Then we are both pathetic in that sense, then."

"How do you know. You are biased."

Echo thought for a second then said with a straightforward tone, "Wait, no, you're a narcissist, I think. I think that is the...word..."

Echo shrugged.

"But isn't a narcissist someone who puts other people down to feed their own egos or something like that? Like, to make themselves feel better?" Echo asked. "Is that why you're mean?"

She wasn't even trying to be rude. Echo legitimately was asking because she was curious and confused.

"...Okay."

Echo shrugged once again.

"Like, we're not going to come to an agreement, so okay."

Echo was enjoying Time's confusion.

"Sure."
