Brief description: Jicama usually assumes the form of a tall, clumsy male. He has black hair and golden brown eyes. Jicama also typically wears a slightly raggedy black cloak, a satchel containing various potions and clay charms, and a stronk sword at his side for good measure. And a cowboy hat, because why not.
Personality: Jicama is typically very friendly towards his fellow kormades and stiffly polite towards others. He hides his insanity gained from Walmart deep inside him, until he has to fight. He is thorough and patient and gets snappy if he's disturbed from planning something.
Abilities: As a former Walmart employee, he knows several spells, from navigation to the good ol' horrible death spells. (Ever wonder how Walmart employees always know where everything is?) He also knows many handy facts and tricks, such as how to dispose of a body in the most efficient way and how to detect if someone is questioning Walmart's morals (all standard Walmart employee spells.) Also as a former Walmart employee, he can speak fluent Beanut Butterian, the language used to cast spells.
Weaknesses: As a vegetal, he cannot go long without light. Most of the spells he casts require the right circumstances and take time to set up. The clay charms in his bag have a tendency to go off at the exact wrong moment.

Backstory: Jicama was once a lonely vegetal, teased and made fun of by all the other vegetals for being basically a turnip, and turnips are the worst brood of vegetal (sorry not sorry). One day, he had enough. He snapped and consumed another vegetal- a grave act of murder indeed. Exiled, he eventually made his way to Walmart. There, in the Candles department, he learned of magic, how to perform it, and how to deal with those who knew too much about Walmart. He still wanted revenge on the vegetals, so he tried one night to exit Walmart.
It was a grave mistake, one that cost him his power and rendered him incapable of casting a single spell. Then, the kormades came. They offered to restore his power with some of their last croissants if he joined them, and so he did. (Remember that he was in disguise at the time, and they did not know that he was a vegetal.) Several kormades risked their lives helping him escape from Walmart a second time and so he considers himself forever in their debt. (Sorry for the long form lol)

Species: avian shapeshifter
Brief description: generally remains in human form unless she's traveling or trying to go unnoticed. Average height but weak frame. Long dark hair often tied back in an unkempt ponytail, slate blue eyes, glasses with thin black frames, gray scarf wrapped around neck (that she'll sometimes also use to cover the lower half of her face), often wearing either a long jacket or a blanket wrapped around herself because she gets cold easily. Yawns a lot, dark circles under eyes, her appearance tends to give people the impression of someone who just woke up and is struggling to remember what year it is. As a raven, her eyes retain the same color
Personality: Athletic, ambitious, charismatic… these are three words that have nothing to do with Screecht. She engages more with her inner thoughts than with outward socialization, and is often awkward or spacey when she tries to do the latter activity. Screecht is also usually one to overthink things, is easily startled, and is in a constant state of sleep-deprivation due to her tendencies to stay up unreasonably late. Dislikes conflict, will either try to act as a mediator or remain neutral if possible during any arguments. Not very vocal about her true opinions or thoughts on serious subjects—not because she is afraid of speaking out necessarily, but because she likes to carefully plan out her arguments and points to make sure that if she shares something, it'll be something worthwhile and logical (although by the time she's ready to speak, the conversation usually has already moved on to another topic). Really likes birds and cats, and being on tall objects (rooftops, trees, telephone poles, etc)
Abilities: has the ability to manifest temporary physical objects (such as weapons, tools or barriers, which have the appearance of gray holographic projections) that disappear once the ability is deactivated, good with knives and other sharp, pointy objects, can shapeshift into the form of a raven to fly or engage in reconnaissance activities
Weaknesses: lacks physical strength, oblivious and spacey, is always tired due to erratic sleep schedules, can't manifest objects for extended periods of time, can't speak as a raven (can make screeching bird noises though, hence her nickname)
Backstory: a wandering mercenary who, after being enlightened to Sistalin’s glory, sought out a civilization who would appreciate his image. Her journeying eventually led her to the Empire, where she joined the ranks of the kormades and embraced their croissant culture. Now preoccupies her time with crafting holy images, eating Parmesan cheese and opposing the wicked Vegetals

Her eyes are dark brown; additionally, she has a prominent jaw and jutting teeth. Jack’s clothes consist of a sleeveless dark green tunic, brown trousers, leather boots, and a black cloak.
Personality: Despite her intimidating appearance, Jack is actually quite soft-spoken. She’s always courteous to others in conversation, though she can certainly stand up for herself or others if need be. She uses physical retaliation only as a last resort, preferring to sort out any conflicts verbally. However, Jack also tends to suppress her own negative emotions to the point that she breaks down completely.
Abilities: Very strong; knows how to wield most short-range weapons, but is most skilled with a battleaxe.
Weaknesses: Lacks agility and speed; personality weaknesses are listed above.
