"You could always take English, that's a useful foreign language", Chris joked. He held his plate of beef and mashed potatoes in one hand as he attempted to fit as many cupcakes as possible onto a second plate.

A the mention of Japan, Breach decides to speak up, "I lived in Akamatsu for most of my life."
Breach seemed to not be really picking up any food, though.
Offline
Mackenzie snorted. "You need help with those plates?"

Riven got some steak, mashed potatoes, and broccoli on his plate. "You lived in Akamatsu?" He replied to Breach. "What's it like there? I've never been there before."
Offline
"If you know how to make them bigger, that would be helpful". Chris held an overloaded plate in each hand as he followed the others

((ack let's just say that Tessa followed them))
Tessa grinned at Mackenzie's comment. "Oh! I love Akamatsu!" she said, quite enthusiastic, as she put more ilyas on her plate.

"I... do not." Mackenzie glanced over at Breach. "I've heard of Akamatsu before. I've never been there before either, though."
Offline
Breach shrugged, "It's... just Japan, but it's magical and in a hidden city. The buildings are nice."
((Kinda not giving an exact answer bc Idk what it actually might look like))

//thats fair bhfndg. ill have to provide a more in-depth description for some of the riftcities sometime
"Nice." Mackenzie stopped, her dark brown eyes suddenly being filled with a childlike twinkle. Sushi! "Is- is that- is that sushi?"
Offline
"That would make sense," Riven murmured, before glancing at the sushi. "It looks like sushi..." he placed two pieces of sushi on his plate. "And hopefully it tastes like sushi, too."
Offline
Mackenzie piled about five pieces of sushi onto her plate. With the corners of her eyes crinkled from her grin, it seemed like she didn't have a care in the world, just for the moment.

Well, Breach actually decides to get a plate and get some food. But nothing too much, really. Maybe just some kyikar (did I spell that wrong?)
Offline
//naw you got it right
"What's that, by the way?" Mackenzie jerked her head at the kyikar once she got over the sushi's existence.
Offline
"That's a kyikar," Riven explained. "It's like... clam chowder and rice mixed together in a bread bowl. It's pretty good."
Offline
Mackenzie took one. "I'll be trying one, then." She paused. "Thanks."
Offline
"A good kyikar is the greatest thing in existence", added Chris, who was still following the others. "I know a restaurant that makes the best kyikar in Neuhaven"
Offline
"Oh, what's it called?"
Offline
"Jerry's Cafe. I go there all the time after school"
Offline
"Hm." Mackenzie put that place on her mental "places to visit" list. "Sounds cool. Where is it?
Offline
"Well, it's in the demon part of town, of course. Right off Schwefel Street. You can't miss it"
Offline
Riven nodded shakily. "N-no problem." He nodded along to Chris's explanation. "I might have to go there sometime, too. Might be a good place to study."

"Cafés are always nice places to study. I could use a change of scenery from Starbucks anyways."
Offline
"I think it might be a great place to meet up and talk about... things." Breach included.
Offline
"Yeah." Mackenzie paused. "Things."
