"Hold on a minute, mister!" Silence quickly followed. "Months?!"
Offline
Rai, characteristically, doesn't respond.
"He's gonna go ask for some child support fees," Hitan elaborates, sounding like he's chewing on something. "From Mr. Hot n' Stuffs."
Offline
"Mr... Who is 'Mr. Hot n' Stuffs'? Also, you better not be eating that old-as-(censor) candy!"
Offline
"Mr. Hot n' Stuffs," he answers helpfully, immediately dropping his role as elaborator. "Or maybe it was Mr. Hots n' Stuff. I forgot which."
Offline
"...That was not helpful."
Offline
"I don't like forgetting stuff," he explains, as if that actually explains anything or is helpful either.
Offline
"What does that have to do with forgetting stuff?!"
Offline
Love how Rai's just. Walking away.
"Mr. Hots n' Stuff," he reminds her.
Offline
Silence is continuing to follow, mentally preparing a lecture while still questioning Hitan.
"Do I know 'Mr. Hots 'n Stuff'?"
Offline
"I don't know. Do you?" he asks cheerily. The thing is that Hitan isn't following her and Rai, so he's just progressively getting louder and louder as the other two move away from him.
Offline
"Well! I have no idea who the nickname 'Mr. Hots 'n Stuff' would refer to, so I say I do not."
Silence is also progressively getting louder so Hitan can hear her clearly. Oh boy XD
Offline
"Yeah, I don't know why his family chose that name," he agrees(?). "It sounds like a brand of chips."
Offline
Silence quieted for a good five seconds.
"THAT'S HIS REAL NAME?!"
Offline
Rai plugs in his headphones, or something. He does something with his hands.
"His name is weird," Hitan says with a nod, apparently understanding her reaction more this time.
Offline
"...I pity the poor fool, then."
It doesn't sound much like she does, really.
Offline
"He's not poor."
Offline
"... That's not what I mean, idiota."
Offline
"He has a lot of stuff," he continues, not responding to the label of "idiot." "Maybe someone gives him an allowance or something."
Offline
Silence sighed.
"His name is still weird as hell."
Offline
"I think that's pretty straightforward, too," he responds, which would have been somewhat thoughtful had he not been shouting it in relative proximity to a house with sleeping inhabitants.
Offline
Silence pauses in her stride and then jogs back over to Hitan.
"Well, what else am I suppose to say about it?"
She has given up on following Rai, at least for now. Perhaps sometime in the future she will lecture him, though.
Offline
"I dunno." He smiles at her, a little blearily. Despite all of his behavior, it seems that he hasn't necessarily woken up. "I don't think you've been there yourself, so probably nothing else."
Offline
"Hmph." She stared at him for a bit before saying, "Shouldn't you be in bed? Being up so (censor)ing late is not healthy for a child."
Offline
He nods, agreeing with her for once. "I was."
Offline
"Then why are you awake so late?"
