"Hmm... I guess so."
She's not completely convinced, but she's not giving him a look anymore.

Back to silence. Again.

Wheee! Quietness!
What should we do now?
Offline
I have no clue
However I kinda got a topic to ask.
"So where is the rest of your family?" Time asked.

"Well, Jay's at work," Echo said. "He works at a retail shop, and North and Adrik left just a bit ago."
Offline
"Oh, that's it? Mhm." Time looked for a way to keep on talking, "What's Jay like?"
Offline
"Real nice! He takes care of us," Echo said. "He's real strong too."
Silence added in, "He works a lot. Hmph, the idiot works too much. He likes to work, or at least that's what he says. Who knows if that's true."
"I think it is. He's always really happy."
Offline
"Sounds like he works too much to me."
Offline
"...Hm... yeah... He does," Echo sighed.
Offline
"Does he hold multiple jobs too?"
Offline
"To be honest, I dunno," Echo said. "I know he works overtime a lot."
Silence sipped her tea before asking in an annoyed tone of voice, "Why is this so important to you?"

"It really isn't." Time answered, "It's just I'm trying to talk about something."
Offline
"Ugh, such personal questions," Silence said. "Try something more (beep)ing light. It's a little rude to ask about a family's personal matters."
"I mean... I didn't see a problem..." Echo mumbled.
"Ask a different topic," Silence said to Time.
Offline
"Hmm..." Time thought for a moment, "What is your favorite color?"
Offline
Silence shrugged, "Black."
Echo didn't say anything as she has answered this question before.
Offline
"Surprise surprise, huh?"
Offline
"It's a nice colour," Silence said. "And I'm guessing your favourite colour isn't much of a surprise either."
Offline
"It's not a color. It's a shade, and a devoid of colors, but ok." Time noted, "If it is not a surprise, then guess."

"Actually," Echo said. "Black is every colour... Well, I mean, it's a sorta split opinion... uhm, like, some people see it as the absence of all colour while others see it as the presence of every colour... Sorry..."
Silence stared at Time for a good moment before saying, "It's the colour of your coat: blue. I'm assuming it's that exact dark colour, too."
Offline
"It's a common misconception. It's devoid of color. White is the correct combination of all colors." Time tells Echo, then turns to Silence, "Wrong. It's rose red."
Offline
Echo looked confused by Time's statement and answer, mostly the answer because he had told her differently. Silence was correct, yes? Echo was very confused. Well, maybe his favourite colour changed, Echo thought. Also, Echo was sure that black was the presence of all colour. At least, that's what she researched for art. Unfortunately for Echo, she only knew the art definition for black, while it seems like Time only knows the physics definition.

Well, Time's favorite color is actually still dark blue. He's just lying or whatever.

Echo tilted her head, studying Time, still confused.
Silence leaned forward a bit in her chair, her eyes wide. She grinned, "Liar, liar~ I can tell when people lie to me~ I have so many abilities, so many voices, and you're a (beep)ing liar~ Would you like to tell me the truth? Surely you won't be an ungrateful guest, a troublesome guest? We have a custom of hexing guests who put up an act and end up with their hosts not having a fondness to them~ Surely you don't want to be hexed?"
Her voice is sweet, but her tone is very warning. She was serious. Silence did not like being lied to. She can hear the Narrators, afterall. Most of the time she can't do anything to stop something, but she can surely make things more interesting.
Silence stared dead at Time, her smile widening by the second. Echo shook her head, as if to tell Silence "Don't." Silence ignored Echo.

Time threw his arms up with a shrug, "Dang, don't need to be so serious with what's my favorite color. Yeah. You're right. It's dark blue." His face seemed both annoyed and amused, at Silence's reaction, if that's possible.
