"That doesn't matter. It looks like it can get worse."
Offline
"It's fine," Echo said, taking a sip of tea.
Silence watched as Echo didn't use her burnt hand.
Silence said, "No it's not."
Echo glanced over to her but quickly looked away, now staring at her cup of tea. It was easy to tell that she was getting embarrassed.
Offline
"It's literally a burn, treat it. Why even say it's fine?"
Offline
"Because it's fine."
Silence was starting to look more irritated. Silence said, "Echo, I swear to the gods that if you don't treat it... I'll tell Jay."
That caught Echo's attention.
Offline
Time rose his brows in slight interest as he took a sip of the tea.
Offline
(XD why does that give such a funny mental image)
Echo stared at Silence, who stared right back. It was a stare down. Echo looked away, sighing.
"Fine, fine, I'll put ice on it."
Silence at first started to protest. "Ice directly on a burn... oh, yeah, healing ability, duh."
Echo sighed again and got up, going to the kitchen.
Silence watched her leave, took a sip of her tea, then said, "Stupid brat, too stubborn for her own good. Huh, she made the tea pretty good this time. Last time she burnt it."
Silence looked over to Time and smirked.
"I bet you couldn't make tea any good. You look to not know anything about tea. How disgraceful."
Offline
"Yeah, I don't know much. I just like tea." He shrugs taking another sip, "But how do you burn tea? It's leaf water."
Offline
"It's more than just damn 'leaf water'," Silence said. "And it depends of the type of tea. If the water is too hot, you can scorch the leaves and make the tea bitter and real (beep)ing gross. Why did you think Echo panicked when she realized she was boiling the water? Green tea is easy to (beep)ing burn."
Offline
"I said I didn't know a thing about tea. I just like it." Time said nonchalantly while staring into the teacup (and if there are tea leaves, that too).
Offline
"Hmph."
Echo came back. Her hand wasn't fully healed, but it definitely looked better. She sat back down on the floor.
Offline
Like, healed enough that it didn't seem like a problem?
Offline
Yeah. If anything, it just looks like it would sting if it was touched. There is some scarring, though.
Echo messed with her wings a little.
Offline
Time takes another sip in silence.
Offline
Well, now it's really quiet other than Missy's purring.
Offline
Well I guess they're sitting in Silence.
Lyre yaps again.
Offline
Echo smiled and called Lyre over, setting down her cup so she could clap her hands together a little.
Offline
Lyre hopped from Time's seat to walk over and sit in front of Echo.
Offline
Echo reached over to Lyre and patted him, starting to do her little baby talk.
Offline
Lyre is just panting, though he attempts to try to get up where she's sitting.
Offline
Well, Echo's sitting on the floor so it doesn't take much.
"I'm gonna go get him some water," Echo said after a bit of petting Lyre. She stood up carefully and left to the kitchen.
Offline
Time nodded to Echo and watched her leave.
Offline
Silence didn't say anything.
Echo came back with a bowl of water, carefully setting it down in front of Lyre. She sat back down on the ground.
Offline
Lyre immediately went to lapping up that water.
Offline
"Huh, must'a been thirsty," Echo said, tilting her head a bit. She looked up at Time, as if to wonder if he's been feeding and watering Lyre correctly.
Offline
"I mean how long has it been since we've left my apartment. A while, right?"
