Echo smiled at that.
"Thank you."
Offline
Time didn't respond and just kept on walking, closing and locking the door behind him.
Offline
Echo waited for him before continuing to walk, looking down at her phone for directions.
Offline
After doing that, Time turned and continued to walk.
Offline
Should we time skip or do you have any conversations you would like the two of them to have?
Offline
Nah, I think Time would be mostly silent unless if she says anything
Offline
Echo will probably focus her mind on directions sO uh, time skip!
After a very long walk (wow, she was right about the walk taking long), Time could probably, more than likely, notice Echo speeding up her pace a bit. She was heading towards a beige-coloured house. It was nice-looking, well taken care of. There was some flowers and bushes that gave it a nice vibe.
Offline
Time simply took note of it. Not saying anything.
Offline
After getting closer to the house, Echo said, "Uhhhm, so this is my family's house! Uh..."
Offline
"Ok. I can see that. And?" Time scratched Lyre's ear.
Offline
"And... yea..." Echo shrugged.
Offline
"...Ok" Time waited for her to enter, so he could go after her.
Offline
She took her shoes off and set them off to the side very quickly.
Echo opened the door and yelled inside the house, getting a bunch of replies back. She turned to look at Time.
"Okay, uhm, please take your shoes off before going in. Also, don't try to pet the cat if you see her, she might bite you or somethin'. Also I guess you should probably not let Lyre near her."
She held the door open for Time, waiting for him now.
Offline
"Oh. No shoes? Ok." Time shook them off, and continued inside, "You have a grumpy cat?"
Offline
"Yea, she doesn't like people much."
The front lead lead directly to the living room. There was one couch and two rocking chairs, one of said rocking chairs being occupied by Echo's older sister, Silence. Silence was knitting but took a moment to look up, scowling when she saw Time. She didn't say anything, though, and went back to knitting.
There is typical living room stuff around, like a coffee table and a TV. On the coffee table is a radio, but it's shut off at the moment. There are some pictures on the walls of the Archer family, but most of them seem older. The oldest ones are of Adrik, some, if not all, of them being black and white and worn.
There is a cat bed beside the chair Silence is sitting in, but there is no feline to be seen at the moment.
There are a few potted plants, but they aren't like anything you would find in this dimension. They give a weird contrast to everything else in the room.
In all, it's a very simple but somewhat comfortable design.
Offline
Time took note of Silence, "Am I not like, welcomed here or something?" He asked Echo.
Offline
"Huh? Oh, sorry, uhm, kinda think of Silence... like the cat," Echo said quietly to Time. Silence didn't seem to catch what Echo said, and if she did then she was ignoring it.
Echo went on to the kitchen, which was more like a half-kitchen half-dining room. First noticable thing was the cupcakes on the table. There was a lot.
Secondly, there was a panicked North rambling to himself as he pulled more cupcakes from the oven. He was speaking in rapid Glitchian, all to himself.
Offline
"Oh. So just grumpy." Time responded, and not in a hushed tone. He followed after her, now looking to North in the kitchen.
"Do you guys really need this many cupcakes?" He asked, hefting Lyre up a bit.

North looked up and smiled, "Oh! Hello! To answer your question, no we do not!" He sounded too cheerful on this next part. "I'm stress baking because I can't find Adrik! He's somewhere in the house, I can sense it, but I just can't find him."
He looked over at Echo and said, "She can, though! Echo's real good at findin' things, 'specially people!"
Echo asked, "Did you bake all this to lure him out?"
"I suppose that's also part of it as well," North nodded. "Although I made too many... but that's okay! Cupcakes are good!"
Offline
Time frowned, "You know he's here, so why are you stressing about it?" He rose a brow as if trying to understand North's actions, "Why not save cooking supplies for later when you need it?"
Offline
"Dentist's appointment in the next dimension over in about... half an hour," North answered, crossing his arms and sighing. "The boy needs to get his teeth checked, he just don't wanna. Jay's at work at the moment, so he can't help any."
Echo thought for a moment before saying, "Hey, Time, maybe Lyre can lure him out?" She pat said puppy on the head gently.
Offline
"Are you sure? Ok." Time shrugged and placed Lyre on an open spot on the cupcake table.
Offline
It didn't take more than a minute for Adrik's creepy giggling to be heard before he materialized from thin air, picking up Lyre into his arms.
"Puppy doggy! Puppy doggy!" Adrik chanted.
North looked amazed and said, "It worked!"
Adrik looked over, grinning, "Perhaps it did, but only this time because Echo brought an interesting person over with a cute puppy! Next time you won't be lucky! Hey, hey! That rhymed, kinda!"
Offline
Time outstretched his arms now, "Ok, now give him back."
Lyre was chillin.
Offline
"Emmm...no," Adrik hummed, cuddling Lyre. "He soft."
This kid looks fifteen, but he most certainty acts like an elementary school kid.
North said, "Adrik, that isn't our dog."
"No, but he soft. I hold him, like baby."
