Nah you have reminded me lol it's not too much of an idea.

Well, after walking for a while, they come across an apartment complex. It's fairly nondescript, to be honest.

Echo looked around a bit, cautious as always when it comes to new areas.

Welp, up the stairs, they go, I guess, and to his apartment, they go indeed.

He opens the door of his apartment, and moves out of the way for Echo, "Ladies first." He nods.

"Uhm... thank you," Echo said, quickly heading inside.

Time nods and closes the door after he enters in.

The apartment seems fairly minimalist, as in there are no unneeded items and such. However, there is plenty of older style, wooden bookshelves filled with things and books (surprisingly) and whatnot. The first room seems fairly normal.

Echo looked over at the bookshelf curiously, as she enjoyed reading, wondering what kind of books he had. Realizing that it might seem nosy, she quickly looked at the ground instead, not wanting to be rude. Awkwardly standing in the middle of the room, Echo waited for Time.

"Well, this is where I live." Time shrugged as he gestured to their surroundings.

"It's nice," Echo said simply.

"Really? Huh." Time shrugged, then turned around to the rest of the apartment. "Lyre? Lyre you here?"

Well, after a few moments, the little guy comes out of one of the rooms looking to Time and Echo. He stops to in front of Time, and wimpers for a moment.

Time sighs and picks up Lyre, and holds him out to Echo, "Here he is."

(Don't mind me trying to remember if Echo has baby talked to Lyre before or not. I think she has tho lol)

Echo smiled and took Lyre gently into her arms, quietly baby talking immediately.

"Hi Lyre!"

Lyre's tail started to quickly wag already and attempted to lick Echo on the nose.

Echo let him, starting to gush over Lyre's cuteness.

"Good boy! Ah, so cute! Have you been good for Time? Aww..."

Echo's full focus was on Lyre now. She must really love animals, honestly lol.

Lyre was still trying to get a lick at Echo's face.

Time was just eyeing Echo, "He's been doing fine, I think."

"You've been taking care of him well, right?" Echo said in her normal voice, looking over at Time.

Well, he's still skinny and frail-looking, but he's looking good.

Considering it, that's probably the best Lyre will look like at the moment until he gets older.

Echo slowly sat down on the ground and let Lyre stand on her lap instead, scratching behind Lyre's ears and baby talking in Glitchian.

Echo looked up at Time, continuing to talk in Glitchian but using her normal voice. She looked down at Lyre, switching tone very fluidly, and grinned in an almost mischievous manner. Echo hummed a bit, said something with a very amused expression, and then laughed very softly.

Finally, in a language Time could understand, Echo said, "Makes sense you wouldn't know what I'm sayin'."
