"To?"
Offline
"Octave."
Offline
"And she said?"
Offline
" ...Same thing as earlier: for you to not talk. I think she's annoyed."
It was very obvious Octave was annoyed.
Offline
"She repeats the same thing when she's annoyed?" Time scratched his head.
Offline
"No."
"...I don't think she likes you much."
Offline
"As expected. She couldn't kill me."
Offline
"Yeah..."
"...I'm happy she didn't."
Offline
"As if she could with her blades."
Offline
"...Yea..."
"I'm sorry."
Offline
"Sure."

Echo flinched, unsure of what tone he was saying that in but immediately feeling bad about it.
"...S..."
She trailed off, unsure if she should apologize again or just be quiet. She stood up, stumbling forward a bit on legs that had fallen asleep. Echo quickly regained her balance and stepped away to not hit Time on accident, streching her wings out and kicking her legs a bit to wake them up.
She was very uncomfortable from sitting, as well as from the entire conversation. She felt uncomfortable and she had no idea of what to do about it. Echo didn't even know why she had told Time anything at all, and now she was starting to regret it. A feeling of guilt was starting to rise.
She wasn't even being useful for him, she was doing nothing but putting all of her emotional garbage on him, and she wasn't doing anything helpful. Just saying she would care about him wasn't enough, Echo thought. She wasn't doing anything to be important or wanted or useful, so why would Time help? It would be easier for him to just leave and tell her to not interact with him. It would be easier for him, and it was simple to do.
Why did she stay and talk? Echo didn't know why. They didn't even know each other that well or long. Why was Echo trusting Time?
Why was her mind spiraling with so many questions; why did she feel bad? Echo felt sick to her stomach from all the sudden thoughts and feelings about the situation.
Echo turned away because she thought she was going to start crying again, but made sure to make it look like she was just stretching her arms and wings. She didn't really want to cry again for the millionth time in front of him because at this point it felt embarrassing, especially since she already cried so much.

Oh it was a nonchalant tone.
Seeing Echo sand up and stretch, he might as well too, he leaned off the tree he as resting on (or got up or whatnot, I can't remember what was his last position lol) and outstretched his arms and walking till he was beside her.
"Ahhhh. Nice day, isn't it? Or maybe it's just a mediocre day. I don't really know yet." He said, shrugging after a yawn. He looks over towards Echo, awaiting for her response.

A nonchalant tone is a tone of many things. It can mean annoyance, sleepiness, indifference, boredom, sarcasm, so on and so forth.
Echo didn't look at Time, but instead stared straight ahead, seeming to be dazed.
Echo was still spiraling, so it took a moment for the girl to register what Time said and a moment for her to come up with a reply. She seemed hesitant to reply. Or maybe she was still thinking? Echo tends to think too much, so the latter was more than likely. Either way, it took her a bit to slowly, awkwardly reply.
"...I'm not sure. It's been a long day, probably not past noon yet. Or maybe it is. I don't know, I don't keep track."
Echo shrugged slightly, ignoring that her voice had wavered for a second. She rubbed her eye, stifling a yawn.
"I'm...not sure yet."

Yeah. Exactly, who knows what it could be exactly describing?
"Hm. And what are you thinking now?" he scratched the back of his head with his non-gauntleted hand and then slipped it into a pocket.
((Ngl I forgot that one of Time's hands had a gauntlet on it for a bit))

"...I'm not sure of what I'm thinking anymore."
(Lol I sometimes forget that Echo has wings so Big Mood)

"Are you sure?"
Offline
"How can I be sure if I'm not sure? It's hard to be sure of anything."
Echo felt like she could fall asleep standing up. When was the last time she slept? That was hard to recall. It was days ago.
"So... no. I am not sure. Because you cannot be sure of something you are not sure of."
Echo tried to laugh at herself, but it came out short and uncomfortable. Echo herself was a short and uncomfortable person, really, so maybe it matched herself.
"Are you sure of anything?"
Offline
"Both, I guess. Sure of some things not so sure about others."
Offline
"Hm..."
"What kind of things are you sure of?"
Offline
"Me, sometimes." He nods, "Mostly me."
Offline
"Sure of yourself?"
Offline
"Most of the time." He nods.
