Well, yep, yes. They're all walking

They be walking. The group got some good distance before there was the sound of a small explosion and some confusion. Then, not soon after, there was concerned screaming. Evidently, the fire had spread and grown quickly, a very small bit of heat being felt from behind the group.

Under his mask, Ardour smiled from the warmth, although it wasn't enough. He said with a lull tone, "Let's keep going. They'll be too distracted to follow us."

There was another sound of an explosion, bigger than before, and some yelling. Ardour looked almost proud of himself, his eyes holding some form of twisted excitement and anxiety. There was joy and hatred, fear and hope, calmness and guilt. There was many contradictions of feeling in Ardour's eyes, it was impossible to tell how he really felt.

In all, when it came to Ardour's emotions at that moment, there was no difference between the melted and fused positive and negative. It was confusing and complex, a type of unreadable but readable portrait of shockingly beautiful sea blue. His hands started to shake slightly, but even then it was impossible to tell if it was from the joyous, adrenaline-rushed excitement or if it was something much darker, deeper, and sorrowful.

Ardour yawned, tilting his head, pulling out the book he had taken from his bag.

"Anyone want to read with me when we get back to the palace? I found a history book. I think it would do us well to study more on the history here, although it's a bit boring."

"But the job was completed, wasn't it?" Nyoko questioned.

"We don't know if those innocents are either loyal citizens or rebels. I will come back and eliminate rebels every time an uprisng happens, but I'm not one that attacks innocents."

"That's right!" Nyoko piped in. "We want to keep it safe for everyone else, no?"

~ in a certain other place ~

He had decided to dimension-jump. A decision brought on by pure panic and lack of thinking.
Still, Clement held on to a spark of hope. Maybe he could find allies... or someone who would help him. He couldn't let his friends and allies' deaths be in vain.

Where was he going, exactly? The destination had been randomized by his fear.
He didn't really know it was the forum dimension he was heading to.

Firstly, things weren't going very well in forums dimension. The museum was bombed, many injured and two people, strangely not forumers, reported as dead. Right after the explosion, there was a large attack on the other side of the city by people in mechanical, robotic gear. After that attack was fought off, multiple small attacks on the city sprouted. It lasted for a whole week. There were many injured, but not many dead.

Two peaceful days later, the news of the WoFMB part of the dimension being attacked came in. They got the worst of it, it seemed. The report was that there was a large shooting, later to be identified as being started by the same people who attacked the SAMB and by some bird-winged humanoids. For the WoFMB, there were more injured and more dead.

To top it off like a rotten cherry, more people were going missing in both areas. Missing reports and files were coming in for about a month, none of them being found. It was too many people. Too many lives and whereabouts becoming unknown. The attacks only made it worst.

Currently, Adrik was reading the newspaper aloud as him and Rin walked along the street. Rin grimaced when hearing the reports. Adrik, who always had that creepy yet cheerful smile on his face, was much more somber today.

It seemed a bit peaceful, but that wouldn't last long when a building exploded above them.

Rin grabbed Adrik and the two of them were able to dodge the falling debris and building pieces as panic started to arise.

Nearby, another building blew up.

This was not a fun time for anyone, really.

Time can probably see multiple people running and the buildings that had exploded are continuing to crumble apart.

Another explosion went off, sounding to be to Time's right.

There weren't any attackers visble at the moment, possibly the bombs being placed and timed after the last attacks.

Rin had let go of Adrik and already lost him, causing Rin to really panic now.

"I lost Adrik," Rin started with.

"And... there are multiple bombs going off. It's pretty obvious of what is goin' on!"

"Wait, Adrik's stuck somewhere?" Time asked, "We should be looking for him or something, right?"

Time sighed, "We should look for him afterward..." He started to move away from the danger, "Come on."
