"I don't know."
She started tearing up, bringing her hands to her face to scratch it up. Her hands were shaking again.
"I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know-"
The next sentence when she spoke was most definitely Octave.
"None of your business."
Then it was Echo.
"Make her stop!"
Then she was muttering again, scratching at her face.

"Oh. It's my business now. One of you tried to kill me. If you should try to kill me, I should try to kill you, wouldn't that seem right?" He fires at Echo and Octave, purposely missing only a few inches to the side.
"SO NOW ANSWER."

(Ope, he real serious now)
She didn't seem to show much reaction to being shot at other than a worst emotional reaction.
Echo screamed, her hands now in fists hitting against her head, "I DON'T KNOW! I... I don't know what she is! I told you that already!"
Octave spoke, now sounding panicked, "Echo, calm down! You're going to knock us out! It hurts!"
"Good!"
Her hands jerked down to the ground, frustration showing on her face. It's unclear if it is Echo's frustration from not being knocked out yet or if it's Octave's frustration of having to stop Echo from hurting herself.
Echo looked up and yelled, "Just kill us already if you want!"
Octave then screamed, "Don't! Don't lay a hand on her!"
"Kill us! Get it over with! It's only fair, it's the only solution, isn't it?!"
Oh boy.

Hm. Well, that was much easier than Time expected. He was now just studying Octave and Echo silently. He still had his finger pointed and aimed at them, however, again he was just studying. Yet it looked more like he was deciding to fire or not to Echo and Octave, probably.

She started muttering again, trying to stand up.
Octave said, "I won't let you die!"
Echo told Time, "Just go ahead. It's pretty easy to kill someone, it'll be even easier to kill me."
"No! We aren't dying here!" Octave screamed over Echo, grasping at her wrist in desperation to summon a weapon. Nothing appeared.
Echo/Octave were able to make it to standing before sinking back down on her knees, visible pain showing on her face. The "two people in control at once" was most definitely an extremely painful experience for both of them, making it hard for them to fo anything.
Echo sobbed quietly, staring at the ground, "I don't want to hurt people. It seems I can only accomplish that by being dead. That's what I think. It's pretty justifiable too, so I don't mind dying. So please hurry before she tries to hurt you again. I don't want to hurt people."

Time would interfere... only when after a few more moments, seeing if they'll be able to resolve it within themselves, though he does ask, "Can you just, get someone in control or something? Preferably the first one I met."
Offline
Octave said, "Fiiine, fine fine fine! You're on my list, though, dude. I'm giving you two minutes, then I'm going back in control."
That was... way too easy lol. Octave recognized that she wasn't in the position to continue fighting at the moment, though.
A shudder passed, and the girl's hair turned back to its original silvery-cyan hue. Echo still had her head bowed, staring at the ground. She coughed up some blood then wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, still not looking up.
Echo didn't say anything. It was like she was waiting.
She was waiting for Time to kill her.
(Bruh what is up with our personas/persona's dark sides fighting lmao, first it was GGaD!Echo VS Oblivion and now it's SF!Time VS Octave lol)

((Ahem, Time characters 2, Echo's characters, 0))
"Hm." He crouched down and looked at Echo, "Does she see?"
Offline
(XD rip)
"...Only through the scratched eye, I think" Echo replied quietly, not even glancing up. "And... sometimes through my memories when I sleep..."
Offline
"Does she hear?"
Offline
"...Yea."
Echo is starting to sound confused.
Offline
"Hear right now. Does she?" Time asked with that same forceful undertone again.
Offline
Echo flinched. The girl started picking at the dead grass, finding a way to keep her head down. She didn't have the energy or dignity to look at Time while giving her answers.
"Yes, sir."
Offline
"Her name?"
Offline
"Octave."
Offline
"Hm. She can hear right now, correct?" Time asked.
Offline
"I just said she could, yea."
Offline
"Yeah. I was making sure." He sighed, "Crouching down at her level, "Now answer. Tell everything you know. Anything you know about her."
Offline
"Uhm, okay," Echo said. "Uh, she's not exactly a, well, flipside, I think. She's not exactly a person either, though. Lil... Lillian said that she couldn't sense a soul, and she said Octave was more like a ghost or demon of some sort. Exorcism doesn't work on her, though. Lillian said that she's trying to find a cure because she thinks Octave's life source has something to do with my blood or something like that. Uhm..."
Echo hit herself against her head, trying to remember more.
"Uh, okay, uhm, fighting-wise she sucks at using weapons, but she likes them too much to not use them. Don't let her touch you, though, uhm... She..."
Echo shuddered, her hair starting to turn colours again.

"Yeah yeah sure." Time said, "How about now getting a hold of yourself. I'd rather not waste any more spells for this. NOW."
Offline
"I'm trying!" Echo screamed at Time. "It's not like I want her to have control! You think I enjoy this?! You think I want to be dealing with this?! You think I want to hurt you?! You, you, you-"
Echo hit her fists against her head for the hundredth time in a row, starting to yell at herself instead.
"Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop it! Stop!"
She then was yelling at Time again.
"If I'm that troublesome, just kill me already! I don't care! I don't..."
Then her family came to mind, causing a new wave of Garbage Emotion to this batch of Not A Good Moment. Wow, this is not a good thing for Echo's mentality, is it?
"I don't... really..."
Offline
Time placed his hands in his pockets, taking a long deep breath, "... You what?" His voice was much calmer now.
Offline
Time sounding calmer was helping Echo calm down a bit. It wasn't much, but she wasn't yelling anymore.
Her hair was back to its original shade again.
"I don't really want to die," Echo said. "Because my family will be sad, but I don't know what else to do."
She looked up at Time. Her face was a bit puffy and bruised with multiple cuts from hitting herself so hard. It was very clear that Echo was in control of her own body again, but she most definitely was beat up from herself and Time's spells from earlier. As well, the back and forth of having control and fighting for it cause a bad physical effect, clear from how much blood she coughed up earlier and how her mouth is stained in her blood. Echo looks pretty tired too, both from fighting, the lack of sleep, and her own situation. I'm general, big oof.
"And... and if I don't, then Octave is just gonna end up in control again. This is a pretty sucky situation, isn't it? It's stupid. I'm stupid. It's an awful truth. No one really wins in the end."
Offline
"Good." Time said, "At least you don't wanna. You need to get yourself together, really."
Offline
"Thank you, Captain Obvious. I would have never known that."
