"Nicer?" Or just less grumpy?"
Offline
"Hmm... nicer, I think," North and Echo both said at once.
Offline
"Well, that's good to hear." Time smiles at Silence (though it's not like a super bright happy smile, Time would never do that).
Offline
Silence doesn't smile back, but instead mumbles a profanity under her breath.
Adrik was playing with Lyre, excitedly yelling, "Puppy! Puppy! Puppy! Puppy!"
Lyre looked pretty excited from all the people around lol.
Offline
"Oh, yeah that's Lyre." Time said, "I dunno what he is though."
Offline
"So cute!" Adrik exclaimed, petting Lyre. "Hello, Mr. Lyre!"
Adrik seemed to have a noticeable Russian accent.
Echo didn't say anything but her small smile had turned less awkward.
Offline
"I know this is unlikely." Time said, "But any of you got some meat? I don't know what he eats."
Offline
"Oh? I can go get some real quick!" Adrik nodded, quickly jumping up and starting to run. He disappeared in a small flash of light.
A few minutes later and another flash of light, Adrik was back holding some kind of meat. It looked to be refrigerated chicken, cooked but not warm.
"Will this work?"
Offline
"Uh..." Time took the chicken, "Sure. Though I'm no cook." A magical flame flickered open in his hand as he started to torch it.
"How'd you find us? Just luck?"
Offline
"Somewhat," North said. "We were able to feel her presence just a bit, from what I assume, after you walked away from the forest. Before that we were real close to here."
Jay said, mostly wondering aloud, "Something about that forest... isn't quite right. The way it blocked the existence of both of you." He shrugged. "Must have some old enchantment or curse on it."
Offline
"Mhm. Fun." Time shrugged, "You guys look mostly calm for not seeing your sister for like, 2 days or whatever. Doesn't she usually come home early?"

"Really, we saw her in the morning time," Adrik corrected with a stupidly creepy grin. "So it was more like mid-day to the next mid-day."
North said with way too much optimism, "Oh, don't worry, we're all mostly screaming on the inside. I think we're just too relieved and tired to really be freaking out."
"Sorry," Echo apologized. North told her quickly that it was okay, but seemed to notice her acid-burned hand. He didn't say anything about it, but his eyes flashed over immediately to Time right after.
Finally, Jay answered Time's question, "Usually, yes."
Offline
"Ah, that makes more sense." Time said as he continued to literally burn the chicken with his hands. He seemed to be staring at that for the time being.
Offline
"Uhm, Time, you might want to stop cooking it before it gets too charred," Echo suggested.
Offline
"Ah, good idea." Time stopped buring the chicken and took off a piece and held it out to Lyre.
Offline
Lyre sniffed at it for a bit. He didn't seem very excited over it, and instead of taking it he stared at it.
Offline
"Hm. So no cooked chicken." Time sighed, "Can you eat raw chicken?" He took a piece of chicken out that he purposely didn't cook.
Offline
Lyre stared at it.
Offline
"Do you like it?" Time reached down a bit, nudging it a bit towards him, "No?"
Offline
Lyre stared at it for a bit more before looking up at Time.
Offline
"Hm. I guess not." Time walked over to Echo and quickly pulled an apple out of her bag. "How about that?" He held it out.
Offline
Lyre wagged his tail and took the apple from Time's hand, eating it quickly.
"Huh, he really likes fruit," Echo and North said simultaneously.
(I'M CRYING I PUT "Time" as "Tome" oN ACCIDENT I-)
Offline
"He really does," Time notes, "I guess I kinda know what he likes to eat now."
Offline
Echo nodded. Lol her Narrator doesn't know what to do atm
