Most of the research I'm getting is 1) not Colorado-related, which is unfortunate because that's what I need, 2) mostly about partisan issues, which is fine, but I have way too many sources for that at this point.
I'm supposed to research on three scales--local (in my province/state), national (in the U.S.), and global (which is, xD, obviously towards the world). Right now I have way too many resources for the national part, some for the global part (I might need to try researching in Chinese,,,), and I have nothing for local.
Like, the only articles I've found are CO lawmakers helping add to and enforce transgender rights, which is great in any context other than research

Worst of all, apparently an interview would be a good thing to plan for, but all it would do would just be add to the national part of the research, which--like I said--I have so much of.
And I know "more information" is usually good, but there's once again a page limit on this research paper so,,, lol
I guess I could try to search on Google and bother someone random (random as in,,, they probably deal with this topic professionally but I have no other connection to them otherwise lol) and hope that they respond lol.
But right now I'm Googling transgender rights and CO and all I'm getting are positive things,,, even Google is like this lol

I have too many sources lol.
I pasted all the links onto a separate document so I can get back to it after lunch .
I started off researching intending to put a focus on cultural factors but ig political factors it is.

Btw that was the passive response. The real response (which was less passive by 9 times) was when I was in APES VC, where I was already excited because I saw population pyramids, which we studied last year in Human Geo.
I'm easily excited tbh.

Lowkey mad at myself because I read over the interview request email message I sent him and I see that grammatical mistake.
I was Dumb lol.
It's not a big mistake--usually people skim by these mistakes--but geez whiz xD

Prompt: Identify a relevant human rights issue--
Me: Stop right there.
Me: (*deep breath noises*)
Me; There will always be relevant human rights issues because some in the world can't figure out that they should treat everyone with dignity and respect and that, in itself, is a human rights issue everywhere

Between my English teacher making us make an outline and making us write the introductory paragraph before all the body paragraphs, my writing inspiration for academic purposes is not oki-doki

I'm sorry, I know I complain too much here lol. It's rare I see what I do well when it comes to writing, much less when I haven't written yet.
So! Today's (read: right now's) complaint session is about 2 things:
1) Full-sentence outline???? Why?????
2) Why are we being reduced to the 5-paragraph standard essay again? I was told by teachers in both middle and high school (and I think with reason) that as long as the essay is organized correctly and coherently, you shouldn't just go by the standard 5-paragraph????

More elaboration on my complaints. So, I understand for some, it's easier to do full-sentence outlines, but when you're literally putting full sentences of evidence and citations, it's like you're just formatting an essay differently.
This would be ok by itself, but I think in my style, that sucks. I go best with a super general outline and adding more. If everything is written out, my instincts are to proofread instead of revise, and I always feel like if I revise at that stage (in a full-sentence outline), I end up rewriting everything, which is extremely inefficient.
Thus, this would be a personal preference, but it's too rigid for me in terms of requirements.

I--
Why does parallelism matter on an outline?
If someone could explain that'd be great but I--

Lol I'm very thankful to my interviewee that he talked for most of the time.
How was I a nervous wreck when I wasn't even the one answering questions? Some things I will never understand about myself

Accidentally ventured onto an anti-trans website.
I very much want to scream. Is that acceptable??

Only got an A on my introductory paragraph
I'm fuming at myself for letting my middle school teachers' "NEVER USE PERSONAL PRONOUNS" thing get in my way of a better score
Ok so fine. I gotta add in why transgender discrimination is an important issue to me? I will let my readers feel my fervor and rage towards the problem, no problem at all

I really hope I don't sound too dramatic in this paper lol. When I get passionate about issues I'm writing about, I tend to use big words.

Being the annoying INFJ and frustratingly dense entity that I am, somehow I forgot you don't need a counterclaim and a Call to Action in an informative essay LOL xDDD
I just want to argue with someone out there ig lol and try to be bossy even in an essay
