"At least you were paying attention." Time sighed, "Whatever. I'll craft a spell up." He got down onto his knees and started to draw a circle.

Echo watched Time.

Eventually, after a few moments of drawing in the dirt with his finger, he muttered a few incomprehensible words under his breath while placing one of his hands on the circle. With a soft turquoise glow, what seemed to be a large compass appeared. It was pointing to the left of Time.
"Well. That's just the general direction. But it's good enough."
Offline
Echo looked amazed at the magic compass.

"So, should we get going?"
Offline
Echo nodded.
Offline
Time nodded back, taking the lead waking ahead of her.
Ig it's much darker now yeah.
((I'm assuming Echo do you have a few ideas/things planned?))
Offline
(Not really tbh. I kinda wonder what would happen if Time met Octave but I feel like that wouldn't go over well lol)
Echo followed closely, keeping alert as she held Lyre.
Offline
((Hey, why not? Why not? I'll let you pull up that card any time))
((For now I'm assuming this trip is going to take more than a day though?))
Time looked back to Lyre, "How does he sleep so much?"

(Okay lol)
"He's a baby, and babies sleep a lot."
Offline
"...Don't babies whine and cry a lot too?"
Offline
"Sometimes," Echo shrugged. "Depends on how a baby feels, I think."
Offline
"Then... what is Lyre feeling?"
Offline
Echo closed her eyes for a moment, then looked up at the sky.
"Calm, safe. Kinda tired. He would cry if he was upset instead of sleeping, I think."
Offline
"How do you know that? Can those guys even cry?" He asked, "Can you... feel it?"
Offline
"I'm sure he has some form of crying. Possibly whimpering or something like puppies do..." Echo answered firstly.
"...In a way. I guess I can... kinda feel his emotions. I can... feel everything's, everyone's emotions..."
Offline
"Oh, so you're an empath?" Time rose a brow. "How good are you? What am I feeling?
Offline
"I'll only do it purposely this once, then no more. I don't like using my abilities. It makes me feel sick."
Echo went quiet. She sighed, then closed her eyes after making sure she wouldn't trip over anything.
She absorbed part of whatever emotion Time was feeling. Time could probably feel his own feelings dull slightly for a flickering moment before returning to normal.
Offline
To be honest, it could depend on how deep she's digging for emotions.
Offline
For now, the emotion would be just how Time is generally feeling at the moment, like happiness, boredom, sleepiness, ect. Emotions that at the moment could change quickly, nothing too internal or bottled up, ya know?
Offline
Time was mostly focusing on Lyre. Kinda thinking about what to feed him, how to take care of him. Things like that. At least that proves he truly wants to take care of the little guy.
But Echo, even if she's looking for surface emotions, could definitely tell it goes pretty deep in his mind. Very deep. As in he has a lot of thoughts and feelings.
Offline
So Time is feeling focused, possibly worried?
Offline
I would say.
Offline
"Hm... on a surface level you're concentrating on something. Like, you're focused on something," Echo said. "I didn't try to pick up anything deeper than that, though, so I probably only got part of what you're feeling rather than the whole emotion."
She shrugged.
"I guess I'm not much good at this when I want to do it on command."

((1000th post!))
Time frowned, "Duh. I'm focused on something, obviously. We're trying to get back."
