"If a revolt is ever seen here again, we will make this "massacre" ten times as worse. Maybe we should do some extra... persuasion to help out as well. To help any extra rebels listen."

His magenta eyes widened. All he could do was nod very slowly, even though his inner thoughts didn't match what Ardour was telling him.
When the other spoke, he stopped nodding and instead shook his head in denial.

"All of this brutality... W-who are you?"

"Hmm..."

Ardour stood up and stepped back.

"Possibly you've heard of us before, but just in case, sear into your head: We're the Elite, enforcers of the law. I'm sure that's simple enough for you."

He looked at Asphyx and asked, "What do you have in mind?"

"Eh. Who know?" He shrugged, "Just that if we ever see rebellion here again, we'll be sure to hammer it into their minds to never disobey."

"The Elite..." he repeated under his breath.
He still seems to be shocked, since he isn't moving.

Ardour suggested to Asphyx, pointing off to the side at the nearly empty gasoline bottle, "I still have some gasoline left."

"Good idea."

Ardour turned back to the boy and pulled him to his feet by the cloth of his shirt roughly.

"Spread word of what happens to people who disobey the law. All of this, everything we did, is punishment. Now run before I change my mind about letting you live."

Ardour went to pick up his gasoline.

He nodded quickly and turned to run, half-tripping with his wings.

Ardour watched until the boy was gone, waited a few minutes, and ordered Asphyx and Auric to leave and wait for him outside.

Asphyx nods, and leaves, followed by Auric, who looked not as impressed.

As they exited, Auric looked left and right for Nyoko.

She was standing a few steps away from the place by which they exited, though her back was turned.

Asphyx just went to lean on the wall.

Auric however, of course since she was looking for her, walked up behind Nyoko, "What's with you?"

The catgirl turned around with a bright smile.
"You're back! Did it go well? Did you kill them all?"
Her eyes were red and shiny from the crying, but she didn't look sad anymore.

Auric frowned, "For the most part, we spared one." She sighed, "What is wrong?"

"Nothing at all! Why do you ask?" Nyoko tilted her head a little, and she looked rather cute in a sense. "That's good to know. You must have reason to spare one, right? You should've killed them."

"It was Aurdor's idea to keep him alive, to spread the terror." She shook her head. "Must be horrible to be that person right now. To see all that happen in front you you."

"Ah, someone who appreciates my ideas," came the calm voice of an arsonist from the side, exiting the building.

"We should get going before the fire hits the gasoline."

Ardour seemed a lot more calmer than before, amusement in his eyes. In fact, he seemed to be in a good mood now. Huh.

Asphyx got off the wall he was leaning on, ready to follow after Aurdor.

Auric still had a bit of a dissaproving look on her face, was ready to follow as well

Nyoko smiled sweetly at Ardour, her tail flicking from under her dress. She stood in an alert position.

(I'm sorry but Auric being disappointed/unamused just makes me laugh for some reason)

Ardour led them farther away, not speaking but in deep thought. He was going through their training schedules and possible mission schedules. He needed to rearrange their eating and sleep schedule, or at least get stronger medicine for now, but he also needed to keep his own teammates hopes up and keep them healthy as well. There was a health checkup soon, thank the gods, so that would help greatly.

Ardour nodded to himself as he continued to think, looking up into the pitch black sky. Without a sun, moon, or stars, Ardour thought their sky was more on the boring side, but the blankness helped with thinking.

"Does anyone have any injuries?" Ardour questioned.

"No." Asphyx replied.

Auric shook her head.

Ardour nodded, taking note of it, and silently continued walking. It was noticeable that he had picked up speed a bit, although he didn't seem worried or anxious.
