Well, it just another random day. Random plants, random buildings, random shops, random people, random conversations.
Echo was sitting on a bench, listening to everything around her. She ran her thumb over the spine of her sketchbook, staring at the sidewalk while swinging her booted feet back and forth. She didn't really seem to look up, but the teen didn't seem to be waiting for anyone or anything. Really, she was just existing in that spot, not doing anything but existing.

Well, as Echo was just listening and such. I guess she would, then, hear some footsteps walking close beside her.
Offline
Echo glanced up, holding her sketchbook tighter. She stopped swinging her feet, and she seemed to stiffen. She had seemed to do the same thing each time a person passed by her.
She gave a small wave, and muttered out, "Hello..."

Time was walking, simply just to walk. He didn't even notice the girl beside him until she spoke up, and he seemed confused that she did, "Uh, Hi?" His brow rose.
Offline
"...How are you?" Echo quietly asked.
Offline
"Why are you even asking this?" He squints. Kneeling a bit down to get to her eye level, "Why do you care?" He didn't seem... the most polite.
Offline
Echo's wings ruffled up, and the teen held her sketchbook up like it was a shield.
"Sorry, I was just tryin', um, to be, oh English..."
Echo muttered to herself, setting her sketchbook down then making weird hand gestures.
"Sorry, I was tryin' to, well, make a conversation?"
More weird hand gestures.
"I-I'm sorry, it was... sorry..."
Offline
"No, no... why not we talk?" He slightly tilted his head, "How are you doing? Your name?"
Offline
"U-uhm, my name is Echo," the Glitchian answered. "I'm, um, I'm fine. How are you, and er, w-what's, uh, what's your name?"
Offline
"Why, I was taking a lovely stroll, but then someone randomly asked me something." He replied, "I guess you told me your name, so I'll tell you mine. It's Time."
Offline
"Sorry," Echo apologized. "Uh... nice name?" She seemed to be trying her best at continuing the conversation, but the teen seemed to as well be the awkward type of person.
Offline
"Nice name? Huh? Nobody has ever really said that. My name is a weird name." He said, "To awkward to talk? Hmmmm? Too introverted??"
Offline
"I'm sorry," Echo apologized, again. Well, so far she has said 'sorry' about six times.
Offline
Time do really be seeming like a bully.
"Oh, don't worry too much. People are different." He told her, "How about this, why all the apologies?"
Offline
"Uhm, I don't know..." Echo answered, now staring at the ground. "Sorry- wait, I did- ugh- wait-"
Echo facepalmed.
Offline
"If you don't know, then why all the apologies? Still?" Asked Time. He shifted down to his knee.
Offline
"Because I feel like I have to apologize, like, so I don't seem rude," Echo mumbled, now picking her sketchbook back up. "I uhm, sorry, I don't want to, uh, to be disrespectful."
Echo internally screamed, knowing that she was not good at this whole 'socializing' thing. Why did she take North's suggestion of trying to make friends?!
Offline
"You just said sorry again." Time pointed out, "How about why not you try that. Try to look someone in the eyes once in a while. Why did you talk to me? You could've just easily let me past by."

"I... uhm, I-" Echo was having a hard time speaking now, and she was starting to look a little bit upset. "I wanted, uhm... to try to make... friends."
Offline
"Oh, friends? You don't got any? Lonely? That's it? You coulda just told me that!" Time exclaimed, standing up, "Why not you just take a walk with me, Echo?"
Offline
"Uhm... okay..."
Echo stood up, her grip tightening on her sketchbook.
"Let's... take a walk then."
Offline
"Yeah. Wanna make a friend, right?" He asked, "How about those? How are those wings? How are they like?"
((She has wings, right?))
Offline
(Yea, she does)
"Oh... these," Echo said, stretching one out. Her wings were large, and looked to be like a falcon's. "Uhm... they are okay. They get in the way a lot... but... uh... I like them. I like to fly... it's fun."
Echo hesitated then asked, "What is it like to not have wings?"
Offline
"Eh, I can't really fly, but that's ok, they don't get really in the way." He leans over and prods the wings kinda roughly, "Are they sensitive? Can you sleep on them??"
Offline
"They're part of my body, but they ain't exactly sensitive," Echo replied, looking uncomfortable from Time poking her. "...Yeah, I can sleep on them, but I personally, like, uh, don't."
The teen's wings seemed to be well taken care of, and the feathers felt soft.
