All my "normal" classes are doing those while the senior classes be like "wORK HEHE"

I'm really busy now. We have to sit in front of our computers for 7 hours because all the "learning" (we aren't learning anything) is synchronous. It's the worst -- we didn't do ANYTHING in Physics. We sat there and stared at each other. I couldn't mute the call or leave my computer in case we actually started working on something, so I had to stay there the entire class period.
So there goes 7 hours of my day. The rest of it is taekwondo. Somewhere in there I'm supposed to do SAT practice, but I don't have the energy anymore. And forget preparing for my fitness test next month.
Sorry afkgj I wish I had something positive to say but it's been rough-

You don't need to apologize. That sounds rough. I don't even have an attention span for like 45 minutes so--idk why they think synchronous learning all day is a good idea, because it's really not. Usually it's just held up by a select few who become bored and/or anxious
Can you turn off your camera? And has your district/school announced something like rn it's only a test trial or smthn? If you can turn off your camera sometimes sketching helps, just maybe a few circles can help imo. And always have your work from other classes nearby. idk I feel like teachers can't blame you for doing homework when no one is talking
So uh, do you mean your teachers don't talk during synchronous learning? Like, they don't lecture?
If it makes you feel better our school needs to get away from Zoom because apparently kids have been entering classes they're not a part of and muting teachers, or they've been screaming into the microphone for 45 minutes

Yeah, my camera is always off. I think they're gonna require us to have them on later, but I'm not doing that. I can't fully invest in another task, though, because I don't want to miss anything.
It's the first week, so yeah, no lecturing, none of that. It's them trying to figure out how all the websites work/having issues with their computer/trying to use the internet. It's a mess.
