Ngl I kinda want to know how many of you are reading this and thinking "what an idiot" because I want to write a historical account from the perspective of people who don't exist in history lol
Feel free to speak up lol, don't be shy.

I mean that's not dumb bc they exist in fictional history
And ngl when you "own" characters they feel very real

I feel like the rest of this month will be me shouting here about not being productive one way or another (i.e. not doing schoolwork OR not writing for Scribble September), and then it'll transfer to my homethread if we do Sketchtober hAhAhA
Good side: I know what I'll write about today
Bad side: Lol what time to write
I'll probably end up writing at like 1 in the morning--

I might be able to write at 1 A.M., but I'm not able to grammar or transition. I also need 6.5 hours of sleep, so I shall cast aside Scribble September for the moment. Honestly, I don't feel good about doing this, but school's really important for me, and thus I am in need of sleep. The prompt is already up for day 4, by the way. I can also swear I don't get a head start; I do a random number generator and select from a list of many words I came up with for the new prompt. Though, I'd probably still suck at getting them done on time even if I had a head start. Not that anyone accused me of that.
Day 3 was interesting to me, but it's long. Too long for my 1 A.M. brain cell to handle. So I shall now bid you farewell after this poorly organized message of sorts. I bid you a good night or a good day wherever you are.
And sorry for organization again, blame the Federalists.

I feel like the problem with the tip of writing to "use powerful words" is that when you put too many powerful words, you just sound like a dramatic narrator. For instance, right now I feel mostly content. I don't feel "jubilant" or "exuberant" or "lively", because I don't. In fact I probably feel more lazy.
That's not such a good example, so I'm going over to my own characters again. For instance, Kiaane can feel happy. But he doesn't feel jubilant or exuberant either. He's far from blissful or joyful. On the same token, Kaori is a relatively quiet person. But he's not "muted" or "noiseless". Or "muffled". Those are weird words to describe a person with.

I'd like to clarify I do support the showing rather than telling factor, but I probably am biased because I have many characters who don't show their emotions much, if at all. Take Kiaane, Death, Rai, for examples. Kiaane has emotions but doesn't express them. Death doesn't have many emotions to feel in the first place because they don't react to them. Rai contains his feelings and their capacity to impact them.

I realize how much I could cheat Scribble September if the prompts somehow matched up with some portion of how much I write for school every day

I do not yet know what I will write for a memoir but my goal is to make myself cry.
It's not a hard goal, which is why it is set.
Honestly anything remotely angsty gets me crying. So I'm aiming for...uh, remotely angsty.
