(Ope, sorry oof)
Echo had her back turned towards Time after the monster had fallen, lost in thought, clutching the wrist of her injured hand in front of her so Time couldn't see it. Her hand, now visble to Echo, was swelling and discolored, dark burns running over her palm and over the first knuckles of her fingers. There was some semi-dry blood leaking from the burns. Echo hurriedly wrapped it in bandages she pulled out from her bag, clenching her jaw from the pain as she tried to figure out how she would wrap her foot while Time wasn't looking. Heck, she wasn't sure if the bandages would do anything for the acid burns and poisoning, she didn't know how acid worked or even what kind of poison was affecting her. As well, it seemed like the world was becoming unbearably hot, and Echo was feeling even sicker than before. How Echo wished one of her siblings were there. They would know what to do.
Echo spoke up, keeping her voice steady as she finished wrapping, making sure to not show Time her bandaged hand, "Any injuries?"
While waiting for a response, Echo focused on the monster's body. She had an idea of how to get it out of the way, but Echo didn't like it one bit.
The hole on Time's jacket has gotten bigger! :0! But the burning has seemed to finally stop.

Time was looking down at the acid on his jacket when Echo asked him.
"No. I'm fine. I'm more so wondering about yours."

"Huh? I-I don't have any injuries," Echo quickly lied, shoving the bandage wrap back into her bag, along with her bandaged hand back into her hoodie pocket. She turned back to Time.
"Anyway, we should, uhm, figure out how to move the monster. Or, like, move around it, I guess."
She looked at the hole the monster had made in the wall before the fight.
"Maybe this is also a tunnel too?" Echo wondered quietly.
(Ope, there goes Echo with her lying about being okay. Tsk tsk)

"Hm." Time rose a brow to Echo.
"But maybe you're right. Can't you see further that way if it can go out?" He said, "Or we'll just have to go past this thing." He nudged the monster with one of his boots.
Offline
Echo stared off into the tunnel the monster had made for a bit before saying, "It, uhm, seems to just lead farther underground."
Offline
"Well then, let's get going past this thing." Time awnsered.
Offline
"Hm... should, uhm, we just, like, try to climb over it or something?"
Offline
"What else?" He shrugged, "I guess."
He started to walk to the monster, and lookedfor a way to climb it. Starting by taking his first step onto one of it's massive claws.
Offline
Echo followed behind, as well as searching for a quick way over. She climbed up a bit ahead of Time, somewhat trying to prove that she wasn't hurt, although it was a bit more dangerous due to using only one arm as well as one of her feet/legs were acid-burned through her thin boot. There was a hole in the bottom/heel of the shoe, which didn't help her at all.
The only good thing was that Echo's self-healing ability was slightly working, although Echo's high fever was still there to hinder.
Echo continued to think to herself about these things before deciding to try to talk to Time to get her mind off of herself.
"...Uhhhm, this cave is kinda, like, pretty cool if you think about it."
Offline
"Why?" Time asked
Offline
"Well, uh, it has kinda cool monsters," Echo said. "From, like, weird blob things to a giant mole-monster, h-how does it contain such interesting things?"
Offline
Time crawled up the monster, past the top, and slid back down.
"Hm. I guess so. But that's just an ecosystem. It's life." He said, "We should hurry up."
Offline
"I know it's life, but, like it just seems, like, interesting," Echo shrugged, jumping down instead. Somehow the teen gracefully landed on one foot. Her grace soon left about two steps later when she stumbled and caught herself on the wall of the cave.
"Although, knowing it's, uhm, life sorta... makes me feel bad."
Echo glanced back at the monster.
Offline
"Hm." He said, "What ever you say. Didn't you still kill those slugs?"
Offline
"Well, yea, but I still feel...guilty," Echo quietly said before suddenly having a coughing fit. "Agh... I feel bad for just... having to take away more lives, even if the monsters attacked first..."
Echo continued to walk foward, not looking at Time, her eyes stuck into a mile-stare. She had brought her hand up to her throat, rubbing the space between it and her collar bones.
"Those... those monsters had lives too, ya know..."
Offline
Time seemed to ignore the part where she was talking about life, and decided to focus on something else, for now.
"You're coughing."
Offline
"So what?" Echo gritted her teeth, wiping sweat off her forehead. She was getting more lightheaded, and Time was probably going to start questioning her. Great. Exactly what she needed.
"C-can't people, like, cough without it being pointed out?"
Offline
Time shrugged, "Only sometimes. Hey, what's up with that? You're literally leaking."
Offline
Echo was panicking.
"Huh? You seem to, ugh, like to p-point out a lotta things! Don't, um, don't you think that's a lil r-rude?"
There was a moment, a small pause, before Echo glared at him, as if she could intimidate Time into a quiet. Her commanding and cold tone made a reappearance, a sudden look of indifference crossing over when she spoke despite the fact she didn't feel too good. Maybe it was the fact Echo didn't feel good that her personality switched.
"Let's continue to move foward. Quietly."
Echo's attitude had changed so quickly the Narrator probably has whiplash now lol.
Offline
Time squinted, "Hmm...." He thought for a moment, "Sure. Why not. Though I get to speak whenever I want to. Ok?"
Offline
"Yeah, sure, whatever."
Echo was already walking forward, continuing on down the tunnel.
Offline
"Ok then." Time said quickly following up with simply walking in silence
Untill he said, "Well. Note that those monsters attacked us first. It was in self defense." And to be honest, there was almost no time in between where he agreed with Echo on walking in silence.
Offline
(Echo: We walk in complete silence. Time: Okay but no.)
"..It still feels wrong to kill them. And I'd like you to note that the very first monster we fought didn't attack until you made a sudden move," Echo replied, a bit coldly. She grimaced, from both the memory and pain.
Offline
((Yep exactly))
"That's called a preemptive attack." Time awnsered.

"Whatever," Echo sighed. She was starting to get chills, despite feeling very hot. Echo glared foward, ignoring the fact that she was completely Not Okay, deciding to deal with it later.
Shoot, there was a monster ahead. Looks like it is another one of those slime monsters.
"...'Nother...Another monster," Echo mumbled out, sighing again.
