Time frowned and turned back around, "I don't know...."
Offline
"You don't know what?"
Offline
"If you're an idiot or not. Duh."
Offline
Echo shrugged, even though Time could not see it.
Offline
Well, of course, Time payed no attention to Echo's shrug, and kepted on walking.
Offline
There was a long pause and quite a bit of walking before Echo said anything.
"There's a monster up ahead."
Offline
"Mh." Time said, "Can you actually tell how strong it is this time?"
Offline
"No..." Echo shook her head. "It has a different shape than the other monsters. Must be a new one."
Offline
"Yeah I guessed it was a new one." Time snorted, "I was wondering if you could correctly estimate it's power level, unlike the last ones."
Offline
"No, stats are more of my twin's thing," Echo sighed. "I can't really tell the strength of things, which sucks, I guess. I'm not being useful, am I?"
She sounded more like she was talking to herself than Time.
"Oh well."
Offline
Time was silent for a moment, finding that it was best to just not respond to Echo.
However, after a moment, he said, "I think it's bigger than the other ones."
(Permission to control next monster?)
Offline
(Yee ^v^)
"Cool."
Offline
Time suddenly halted, "Hey. Wait. It's coming. Get away from the walls."
Not long after Time said it, the area around them started to shake.
Offline
Echo quickly pushed herself away from the wall, quickly becoming alert despite the pain she was in my standing fully on her injured foot.
She muttered something in Glitchian, and by the sound of it, it's probably best to not translate.
Offline
And just in time too. The wall suddenly bursted open with large hulking monster. Something that looked between a giant mole and a drill.
It suddenly turned to face Time and Echo.
Offline
Echo was saying something in Glitchian than would be good to not translate, yet again.
Echo summoned a battle axe, despite the burning pain in her hand, switching moods very quickly.
Offline
The monster let out a gutteral roar, and raised a drill arm, plumiting it down on the two.
Time seeing the monster raising it's arm made him already move out the way, preping a spelling his hand.
Offline
The second the monster moved, Echo had jumped back, foreseeing the attack. She gritted her teeth as she tried to attack back with her battle axe, aiming for it's head.
Offline
The monster brought up it's other arm to block, the axe digging into it's flesh, however, as Echo dug in, she felt some resistance.
The monster was trying to slam Echo with it's other arm, but the key word is try.
Time was seemingly holding it's other arm in place with magic.
Offline
Echo push-jumped back, leaving her axe in it's arm, landing on her feet but somewhat stumbling due to her injured foot/leg. She didn't say anything other than a mumble, summoning some throwing knives. She silently thanked her older sister for teaching her how to throw them as she cast three at the monster.
Offline
The monster was too big for the knives to to much but annoy the monster. It makes another swipe for her, only to be interrupted by Time manipulating the monster's own arm into smashing itself in it's face.
Offline
Echo forced some fallen chunks of rocks that had fallen from the broken wall to fly at the monster by using the power of aerokinesis, making them sharp with a bit of her limited reality manipulation. Yay.
Offline
The Monster howled in pain and took multiple steps back. Looks like they were doing some damage.
Time moved from holding the monster's hand in place, to firing multiple beams at it.
Offline
Seeing the rocks working, Echo cast some more from the ground, adding in some sharp air currents to cut the monster.
(Lol the moment when you don't know what to do)
Offline
((Sorry bruh Idk how to fight sometimes, lets just skip))
The rocks seemed to be enough for the monster to fall upon it's back, defeated.
However, it's body seems to block a lot of the tunnel.
