Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

Heheh.

Yeah it doesn't look bad, but it would stand out more in other color conbinations. Spec's palette is pretty dark (and I've no intentions of changing that), especially in the genetics part, so the eye doesn't look THAT unnatural as it would look with, idk, pale skin.

Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

Someday I'll master anatomy enough to be able to draw whatever pose in whatever angle I want!

But for now I'm stuck with static poses TvT

Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

bruh rip

Drawing characters in movement is much more interesting and fun than static poses. I haven't done it too much but it's great

Kwajsfefisrrsgkjeskj my art style is having seizures.
Y'know when you draw a bunch of characters and your style isn't even consistent on the same page???

Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

This isn't super pretty looking but if my linearting and coloring come out okay, I think I'll post it just to show how I can't draw.

Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

I'll just figure out how to color rainbow eyes since in my style the eyes are mostly black shadow for the iris with a bit of color and a light spot.

Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

The lineart was sloppily done but it is done. Maybe tomorrow O'll add thick outer lines? I just did the basic lineart, no tmextra thinness or thickness.

Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

I've spent a full hour coloring and my hand is Dead.
Tomorrow I'll touch up some colors and try to figure out the hue for a certain skin color.

I tried one side view and I think it looks okay.
Side view isn't my strong suit lol.

Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

So I didn't notice this last night but I colored on a rugged surface TT_TT. Everything, even the skin, is textured now fjdndjdks.
Hoping I'll be able to fix it later

Looking at some of the pieces I've posted, I realize that a good amount of them are actually a lot better than I thought.

Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

Strangely, I'm in the mood to try some fanart. Later I'll try to do some.
I should be working on a couple forms though...

Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

So I got stuck thinking about sweets and sugar and I sketched the Cheetah from GGaD.
Her eyes scare me.

Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

Not only her eyes Ig xD I am almost 100% sure I did something wrong with the proportions on her face. I'll blame her eyes.
And also jfjdfndfkdsskd her body is SO HARD to draw? Every time I try to draw her, I regret creating her with an intentionally disproportionate body.

Re: Specter's Stash of Sketchy Schemes

I just noticed too that I have never tried to sketch her in full-body.
I guess I just really don't dare to try to draw her legs.
Aaahhhhhhhhhh
