I also do realize it might not have just been the fact Rai's related to her now but the fact that she didn't really have more of a backstory than just being shunned before the shipping thing was decided.
I should write stuff for them but,,, cringe. I guess. I'm afraid lol.

Played around with some more forum!Galaxian designing and obviously I wrote like 500 words for him. Honestly both are messes rn sfisjfdiffjsf. The blue hair is fine but I'm not sure if I'm really ok with the silver eyes or not. Again, I could do what I usually do and go with the "oh his eyes can turn to like every color he wants lol" which wouldn't be horrible, but it just seems lazy to say "there's no default color lol haha boo default".

jfksdjfkjfkdsf changing eye color is fun, I do it on occasion too when it makes sense and I can't decide
If you need suggestions you're going with blue hair,,, it's kinda basic but sticking with a similar/the same shade of blue for the eyes tends to be work pretty well for most shades (unless it's extremely bright or neon blue)? I don't know what kind of shade you're using though so I guess it would kinda depend on that

@Autumn - I'm using kinda the ombre from dark blue to light blue; currently I have the dark blue as the darkest blue I can find and the light blue as sky blue (so my POV color makes a bit more sense). I did try blue (both the darkest and the lightest) and it looks good. However I'm kind of a bit ehhhh on using blue (I think if his eyes do change color blue is definitely an option! And for GGaD!Galaxian the available colors are usually scarlet [default], silver, gold, black and blue [though that's more of an unseen thing rn]) because that's kinda like Saint Seiya but with gradient hair. So many blue hair and blue eye dudes in SS xD
Honestly it's not that this version of Galaxian looks particularly "bad" with scarlet, black, blue, silver/gray, etc., and in fact I feel like the fact that he looks ok with everything is making my decision-making skills go whirrr

How annoying would it be for me to go to every forumfic signup and say "good luck with your writing! I'm too lazy to do forms and figure out more worlds than I have and make even more OCs lol sorry for not submitting anyone"

The thing is I usually don't mess with any species that are more than humanoid but at the same time I do? It's kind of weird. It's hard to explain, e.g. Hitan's an angel but he's humanoid and his personality is that of a human. Galaxian's a humanoid and of an undefined species but you could say he's human all in all. I think as soon as I read a tip from Wattpad "don't make malignant (or any) species too alike to humans" my mind overcomplicates it. Usually I just go with "oh they look human and act human but that's to fit in with the society/world" but jfsifjoij like I said, I say lazy things while I apparently don't act lazy, when in truth I act lazy as well

Also if there's any trends to my character-making it's just kinda aligned towards philosophy, perhaps too much. And usually I'm super biased in character creation, like I refuse to make vampire characters because 1) I actually don't understand vampires, 2) blood-sucking eww,,, 3) they're kinda associated with religion and that kinda bothers me. idk.
I mean, like, they might have characteristics defining of them, but I don't understand them. ~~Again, sometimes I'm too realistic.~~ Like, just biology for instance, how does the blood they drink filter from the throat/digestive system to the cardiovascular system? And also I'm biased by (spoilers for Fate/apocrypha lol) the fact Vlad III from Fate/apocrypha was very powerful until he was just kinda speared by black keys from Shirou Kotomine. Like, hax. And very anti-climatic imo. Lol
I'm rambling sorry lol the point is I'm not comfortable with making any characters of a species I don't understand to a reasonable extent for reasons

Anyways here's what I speedwrote earlier today. Not proud of it. But whatever. It's a WIP and I do not desire to finish it at the moment.

"Found you." There was no triumph in the words and no pride in the accomplishment. There wasn't even any threatening nature to his saying, only a direct statement.
Of course, they hadn't exactly been playing hide-and-seek but, in a sense, they may have been. What comprised such a game? Was it the mere nature of there being a hider and there being a seeker? Perhaps then it could be called evade-and-seek, except there was no laughter and acceptance of defeat after the evader was found.
The seeker wasn't sure whether it could even be called victory if the evader had perhaps wanted to be sought this one time. Perhaps he was instead the one who was caught.
"So you did." The evader's voice was impassive, almost as if the tone of someone who didn't quite like children listening to a child's ramblings about his latest activities. In the eyes of someone overlooking the situation, it may have seemed almost funny, a child with the colors of the bright and sunny sky facing a shadowy silhouette. Of course, both were more than they seemed. In this game, no one could be said to be just. Perhaps the seeker had once thought he was on the side of righteousness...no, there was no perhaps. He *had* thought so. There was no denying that fact.
But now he didn't know what to think. Once, he had been able to refer to mentors and ask them questions and inquiries that would always be answered somehow. Now, he had no one to inquire about all the thoughts swirling about his head.
In a sense he was facing the one who had erased the world from whence he came--the place he believed to be his origin. In that sense, he was facing the murderer of his teachers, of his friends, and the slaughterer of his comrades, and of the life he had known. And before embarking on this journey to find Chnoasmos again, Galaxian hadn't even decided just what it was he wanted. In some shadow of himself there laid a desire to do something less and more than fight. He desired to talk, but there was something ridiculous about that desire, just as there was about this entire situation. He was the product of a story that was ridiculous in nature itself. Wasn't that it?
Perhaps as someone who had once been trained alongside warriors of hope and peace, the only thing he was now was a warrior. Yet, what did warriors truly do? Did they truly fight for a cause? Or were they just the products of the gods' manipulation?
For the past three years, it had certainly come to resemble more the latter than the former. And the fact that it didn't twist towards one and neglect the other brought controversies he couldn't understand. And his innermost decisions were the products of those controversies.
Come to think of it, he had decided once that he would never do one or the either--lay down his sword and armor, or take both up.

Ah yeah, making design decisions can be really hard,,, I know I have trouble with this sort of thing a lot too fjkdsflksdjf. I definitely understand how you can find blue eyes to be meh - it's really just a safe option and because of that it tends to be really common, like you mentioned xD all of those color options seem like they'd work really well; my personal two cents is that black/grey/silver would also be pretty good but ultimately it's up to you
I don't know if I'm even being helpful haha, good luck with finalizing the design

I don't really understand how vampires work either tbh fjsklfjsdlkf the aesthetic they have is cool though

and :eyes: really like the mood you set up for that wip piece!!

Oh and I did get a bout of "inspiration" to ruin my writing career more than I already have, and to publish each AgK! AU chapter not once every seven months but actually once every 14 months (btw it shouldn't be that long but I still can't use the device all the AgK! AU stuff is on,,, so,,, yeah. And this device doesn't let any reading of the USB drive happen or I'd be able to at least look at the basic planning/what I have so far for like chapters 2, 3, and 4)
I need to organize that a bit today.
