Could be wrong, but there might be a way to still make everything fade without exceeding the limit. The coding text disappears after you submit your new signature, and all that's left is the color fade, right? So maybe try doing a little bit at a time, and because the extra text for the coding disappears, you can keep adding more...? This probably isn't how it works XD

I also think someone has asked for more characters to a signature before (maybe my memory is faulty), but they said no because they don't want people's signatures to get too big -- or something along those lines.

I have it capped at 500 characters -- which is already twice what you were allowed on the old forums -- and I'd rather not make it any higher than that, especially since it's only one person asking. Hope you can get your color fade figured out.

the problem isn't the 500 character limit, it's the fact that it counts the code (i think) from colorfading as part of it, even when only the color fading is showing. it must, because i counted and i had like 100 characters showing, including spaces, and it wouldn't let me paste code in.

i would just copy and paste the faded text, but it doesn't work ;-;
