I can't wait to use my minisketchbook but at the same time I can't muster the courage to actually do the first stroke on one of its pages.
It looks so wonderful just blank and empty.

I made one drawing on my sketchbook and I ripped it out
Multicolored hair does not look very pretty with gray-white-mint-pink clothes. Idk what I was thinking there xD.

Ok but this sketchbook is tiny.
6x4.5 inches iirc? My mom ripped out the label so I can't remember xD but I'll measure it later.
My previous one was 20cm tall iirc. Not sure.

Eh, I'll come up with something.
I tried to sketch Jasper's face but xDDDD a terrible, horrible, absolutely loathesome creature appeared in my paper. Jasper deserves so much better than my animal drawing skills.

I'm trying to figure out what's the best way to shade and show shine on white hair without making it look gray?

Ah and I still need to figure out how to do varied skin colors with these pencils.
So far I've got pale fair, fair, peachy, slightly tanned, and that tanned shade which is my favorite.

Blank face expressions are tough to draw for me.
Also dull eyes kinda? Because I'm used to doing that shiny light dot in the eyes XD

I'm pretty sure I like this eye design though.
The hair's hard 'cause I don't have much practice with drawing short hair.

I have discovered that, in fact, adding gray as a shading color to skin makes it look kinda dead.
I added too much gray and this guy looks like a corpse oops--
Time to restart.

Or I could maybe try to erase the color. That should blend it a little better.

OKAY BUT when I'm trying to draw someone and the music has the opposite vibes the expression often goes like kdsjfhsdkjfsd weird.
