For some reason, my mom thinks I can memorize the whole sheet music for the "Blue Danube" in just two days.
Like lol I'm not that good. I'd need to decipher the notes first and then play over and over until I have the notes memorized. And then get the harmony with both hands. And then adjust my tempo.

I'm not sure if anyone else thinks of the song learning process like that, but splitting it up into steps helps me concentrate better.
Though I gotta admit that sometimes I get annoyed by my slowness xD

Sight reading is kinda hard for me unless I know the melody a bit. I can play beginner pieces wih ease though.
For some reason I tend to lean towards pieces that are "fun" to play though xD like the "Marcia Turca".
