In an alleyway, after the whole "jewel that was actually a bomb" thing, Stellar was catching his breath on the other side of town. The black-clad thief slid down behind a dumpster so no one could see him. Well, no one on the ground. But maybe someone above him could...?

"So, how did you do that?" Solaris asked from the rooftop above, leaning on her staff.

"SPIRITS -- " Stellar screeched in surprise, looking up at Solaris with wide eyes. "Oh. It's... you. Are you going to turn me into that policeman? Because I wont tell you how I did -- wait, what did I do?"

"Disappearing into thin air, I mean," Solaris said. "Please calm down, I'm not going to hurt you. I won't turn you in to the police either. Nice work on the bomb."

"...oh. Then magic. I'm not going to tell you what specific kind of magic, save for that it's shadow and illusions I specialize in. Whether I am a mage or a charm holder is classified, for your consideration," Stellar rambled on. "And... uh, thanks? Was that a compliment? I think that was a compliment..."

"It was a compliment," Solaris said, retracting her staff before jumping down to the floor of the alleyway. She stuck out her hand for an open offering of a handshake. "Thank you for working with me earlier. My name is Solaris. You are...?"

Stellar hesitated, glancing at Solaris's outstretched hand with distrust for just a second, before taking the handshake. "Call me Stellar. I suppose it's nice meeting you, Solaris." He suddenly frowned. "You know, the way you swung your staff... it seemed familiar to me, for some reason."

Solaris smiled, retracting her hand. "You must be seeing things. It's quite late, could be the effects of exhaustion."

Stellar retracted his hand back as well. "Hm... no, that can't be it. Swinging your staff like a baseball bat... I only know one person who can think of something like that..."

"Must be an odd coincidence then," Solaris smiled. "Many could have thought of the idea before, yes?"

"Well, yeah, but..." Stellar frowned. He just couldn't shake the feeling that Solaris' presence was... familiar. "You know what? Never mind. I'm probably just exhausted like you said, yeah."

"If you ask me again, I'll be convinced that you're under the influence of some sort of drug," Solaris laughed, covering her mouth as she did. Her hand dropped and she pointed at Stellar. "How did you know about the bomb? I'm in awe that you planned this all out beforehand."

"I can assure you that I'm not drugged," Stellar deadpanned. "As for how I knew about the bomb... that's for me to know and you to speculate. I'm not giving that information up to anyone."

"I can understand why," Solaris said. A shout from outside of the alleyway made her turn her head. Two people seemed to be running down the street and a scream shortly followed.
"That doesn't sound good," Solaris said. "Care to investigate with me?"

Stellar blinked at the sounds of shouting. Geez, two jobs in one night? I'm going to pass out when I get home. "...Uh, sure. Let's go." He followed the sounds of screaming.

"You're up for it, are you not?" Solaris asked, breaking into a run and chasing the two figures making a run for it.
One seems to have a weapon; the other, a full duffel bag.

Stellar smirked, his glowing eyes burning even brighter. "Is that a challenge? If so... of course I'm up for it." He crossed his arms, and in a flash, shadowy chains lashed out from the dark that attempted to bind the two figures.

The runner with the gun was bound by the chains, but the one with the duffel continued to sprint.
"I got the guy here, you get the runner," Solaris shouted as she popped out her staff, knocking the gun away from the grip of the woman bound.

"Got it," Stellar mock-saluted, before charging at the figure with the duffel with a dagger in hand.
