There is so much room for   s u f f e r i n g   because of the sheer amount of times Zura gets screwed over or sidelined in canon.

- His childhood has a ton of gaps in it because all they ever told us was that his parents died and he grew up alone until he met Shoyo.
     - It's implied that he knew his parents, though.
- No one knows what he did in the ten years after the Joui War, though we can assume it was rebel stuff.
- We never learn when or how he formed his rebel faction (we learn ALL about the Kiheitai though because yeah sure Takasugi is way more important right right I'm not bitter-)

I'm keeping my sanity about as well as NS Zura is keeping his limbs
