"consumed moth god of the moon"
hM
Basically, the Moth God- like other gods- was once the great giver of lights, with the Moth's in the form of the two moons on its wings. It was the way it always was- or at least that is how they tell it. But then bugs created light. They no longer relied on the gods for light. The bugs and their godly patrons (now feeding on the bugs' light) waged war with the gods of light, who feared the newfound independence of the bugs. The war supposedly lasted generations. In the end, a deal was made: the bugs would not usurp the gods, but, in return the gods of light had to make a sacrifice. They chose the Moth God. And the bug kings of old consumed it. Pinned and broken and dissected, they pulled it apart. All it could do was scream (think Death's Head Moth squeaking). Then the great bug kings of old buried what was left to be picked about by the beasts of below. Now the moths are an accursed civilization, fatally drawn to lights as a desperate attempt to find their eaten god. But some say that the god of moths still remains. And it hungers.
So light =/= goodness. But the Sacred Darkness is something no god dares to mention. I swear the plot is a lot more happy and un-edgy than the myth backstory sounds.

Oh skskdkss sorry! Yea I love the Radiance, and both share themes of "Forgotten God of Light" although I think the Moth God is actually more similar to Mr. Eaten from Fallen London or Aldrich Devourer of Gods for having a consumed/consuming motif.

Ooh, a quest for the rp and lore? Nice. Very epic.

Yep! Pretty much a group of bugs work together on a quest to stop a threat that is connected to the rp and lore.... hehee :D

Thank you! I think there MIGHT be an image mechanism here, so I will see on Monday if I can upload it.
Also will disappear on Thursday for wisdom teeth removal. Will probably not become active again until two-three days later. Sorry

oof. That's fine though. Hope everything goes smoothly and nicely after the wisdom teeth! And a speedy recovery as well!

Thank you so much! Hopefully recovery will be quick. Just in case something goes wrong (the odds are incredibly low so I'm not worrying), I still want to say I love you guys and all of you are so amazing and creative and wonderful. Keep on swimming!

Dang what the heck you make me worry by saying that it's just a Wisdom teeth surgery. None the less I repeat, hope you have a speedy recovery!

Ahhhh skjdsjkskd sorry for making you nervous! I know my body reacts a bit weird to local anesthetics and I haven't had surgery since two times before (both urgent, one as a baby and one as a toddler (when I broke four of my teeth off, hence why I'm having this preventative wisdom teeth procedure)) so just in case :> Ahhh thank you! I hope so as well!

Hello hello welcome back
How did it go
Offline
Good, thank you!
A lot less swelling and pain than I expected. Never got loopy, and apart from the usual "soft foods and saltwater rinsing" I am mostly back in action. So yay!
Offline
That's great to hear!

Thank you! Going to get back into Bugtime Story planning within a couple days

Well, looking forward to it as always!

Than you!
I got the three main "Kingdoms" the RP will have for Bugtime Story, and two extra places.
-Entomondia
The famed Insect Kingdom. Large and bustling, it is home to rural outer lands and an urban inner capital. The story would start at a tavern in the rural outskirts.
-The Moving Kingdom of Archachatina
The Nomad Kingdom on top of a giant snail. It is famed for its wealth and prosperity. Ever-traveling, it roams the continent, but currently dwells west of Entomondia.
-Sea of Annelida
The coast and ocean east of Entomonida. Massive worms and sea beasts dwell within, making intercontinental travel risky and lengthy.
-Arachnida
The Nocturnal Kingdom of the many-legged. Found to the north of Entomondia. Arachnida is isolated-yet-peaceful, more focused on the surviving the beasts of below than international affairs. Because of that, Arachnida and its people are subject to many a superstition.
-Ruins of Lepidoptera
The ruins of the Moth Kingdom, found south of Entomondia. Many butterflies have taken to building inside the ruins. Some moths remain, chasing the Light in the hopes of finding their consumed god.
So three actual kingdoms, one ruins, and one coastline with the ocean.
