"You don't know anything about me!" Silence spat. "Don't act like you (beep)ing know me! The only reason you're still here is for Echo's sake."

"Y-"

"We're hooooome!" North yelled as he and Adrik entered from the front door, unintentionally cutting off Silence.

Silence flipped Time off before North and Adrik could see and then greeted her brothers.

Time could probably hear Adrik proudly announce, "I didn't bite the dentist today!"


Whenever Time makes it to Echo's room, he could probably see her half-asleep while still petting Lyre. But upon realizing Time's presence, she attempts to sit up a bit more. She sleepily (and very unconvincingly) said, "I'm awake... definitely awake... awake...yea, awake..." It sounds more like she's trying to convince herself she's awake.

"No, no, I'm awake..." Echo yawned. "Not... not sleepy. How are you?'

"How's Silence?"

Echo kind of laughs, lightly and a bit tired. She finally was able to open her eyes completely, blinking a few times before looking up at Time.

"Is she... causing you too much trouble? I'm sorry..."

She looked back down to Lyre, scratching behind his ears.

"Oh, that's good," Echo smiled. "She doesn't usually... well, she isn't usually liked by people, ya know? She's a good person though, so I'm in joy that you like talking to her."

"Well, uhm, at least you enjoyed it," Echo said. She thinks Time is weird.

Echo doesn't really react much other than a soft, "Oh."

"Huh?"

"Oh. What did... you expect?"

Honesty, the lack of reaction was probably because Echo was still sleepy and her overwhelming amounts of emotion hasn't caught up yet.

"...Okay."

Echo continued to pet Lyre, not sure if she should continue the conversation or not.
