"...She's probably mad at me. Really upset and mad..."
Offline
"That didn't really answer my question, maybe I worded it wrong, but whatever, let's go with what you said." Time said to himself, inching the chair closer, "So why do you think Silence would be angry?"
Offline
Echo looked uncomfortable.
"Why would you want to know?" Echo mumbled back, picking up Lyre and cuddle-holding him in her arms.
Offline
"To see your way of thinking." Time answered.
Offline
Echo didn't respond for a while.
"I'm... not sure why I think so," Echo finally said. She got quieter as she continued talking. "But what reason would she not be?! She has every right to be..."
Offline
"The reason why she'd be angry is that you didn't tell her in the first place!" Time says, "She cares about you, and you decide to not tell her of a quite serious problem."
Offline
Echo didn't say anything after that, continuing to pet Lyre. She sniffled, indicating that she was now crying.
"I don't want her to worry..."
Offline
"She won't worry when it's over and you have your problem here solved." Time said, "Other than that, you are doing nothing but prolonging that feeling of worry."
Lyre nuzzled into Echo more, whimpering a bit.

Echo continued to pet Lyre, now quiet and probably not going to respond. What Echo wants to say is "If no one told her anything, there wouldn't be a problem in the first place". It's probably beneficial to remind that Echo has no idea Octave took over for a short period of time.

Oh thank you mysterious narrating voice.
After a few moments of silence Time asks, "How aware are you of Octave's movements?"
Offline
You're welcome. Or is it your welcome? The Narrator does not know lmao.
"What do you mean?" Echo asked back.
Offline
"How aware are you?" Time asks, "Because this," He looks around at the wrecked room, "Was Octave."
Offline
Echo looked around her room for the first time since she woken up. She paled a bit, a lost look on her face.
"Octave... Octave took over?"
Offline
"Yep."
Offline
Echo stared off, her mouth open as if she wanted to say something else. It took her a couple minutes before she could ask, "...How long?"
Offline
"I dunno, I don't keep track of time." He said, "But enough to have a conversation and a fight."
Offline
"...I don't... I don't remember anything," Echo said. "For the first time...I don't remember anything."
Echo started to freak out.
"What the... What happened?! Why don't I remember? I wasn't even aware of the switch over! Did she hurt anyone?!"
Offline
"She hurt me. But I'm fine." Time shrugged, "Nothing too bad."
Offline
One moment, it didn't really seem like Echo was going to cry, the next moment she burst into tears.
"I'm sorry," Echo cried, hating the fact she was crying.
Offline
Time stayed silent this time. no, "Don't say sorry." Like he usually does.
Offline
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I couldn't control her and you got hurt and I'm sorry! This is my fault and I don't know how to fix it and I'm sorry!"
Offline
"Ok. That's enough. No more saying sorrys."

Echo just shuts up, which is probably for the best at the moment. She sort of just stares down. Honesty, the Narrator isn't sure what to narrate other than what is more than likely obvious. She looks more than upset, more than sad, but the Narrator doesn't have the right words to describe how her facial expression looked emotion-wise. Perhaps physical description could work better? Her face scrunches when she cries, more as if in intense pain. She bites her bottom lip a lot, and other than being chapped from the action, it's currently raw and almost bleeding from how sharp her own teeth are. Her eyes squint as if trying to hold back tears, but the tears run out anyway in uncontrollable waterfalls. She cries a lot, and her eyes get red and sore quickly. Her face is flushed from embarrassment, and she doesn't manage to look at Time because she feels a mix of guilt and shame. In a way, in her eyes she looks lost, unknowing where to do and what to do. That's normally how she looks though. Just uncertain.
But, it would be obvious she would have such a look on her face because as mentioned before, she is crying. She had stopped petting Lyre when she started soft-yelling, but now started to continue. Her voice isn't very loud, to be honest, but it isn't much pretty when it raises. When Echo is upset like this, her voice gets scratchy and sounds so fearful from how much it shakes. Her voice cracks a lot from the sudden emotion that controls her. She's very much an emotion-over-logic person.

Time decides to say, "Hey. Why not take a breather and let's take a few moments. Ok?"
Offline
Echo slowly nods because it's probably not best for her to try to talk.
She's not very good at breathing, but she's doing her best to not continue breaking down. It's not much, but it's something.
