Aika was walking, admiring all the pretty stalls and the tall carvings that loomed above. She was distracted, and bumped right into Vixen and Anjo.

Marshall nodded. "Sure, sounds better than standing around up here". More quietly, he added, "I don't care if he'll get mad Clive, he's not here anyway". Marshall hopped down the stairs at the side, looking relieved to be off the stage.

"I haven't yet-- oof!" Vixen grunted when Aika bumped into them. "A-ah, sorry," they quickly apologized.

"Shoot shoot shoot i'm so sorry!" Aika mumbled, collecting the set of paintbrushes she dropped on the ground. As she stood, her eyes flew to Vixen's mask. "Gosh I really should pay more attent- oh that mask is beautiful! The craftsmanship, the paint, the intricacy, where did you get something as gorgeous as that?"

Nora surveyed the food trucks and decided on tacos for her and Vila. A small container of maroon face paint she'd (finally) gotten her hands on bounced around with her pocket with the wood bracelet as she walked up to the truck.

"That's what I'm doing right now," he said lazily in a monotone. "but I haven't found a good place to buy something. You looked like you were going to buy something. Any recommendations? I'm hungry and I want to go home. This place is boring me out."

NightWolf nervously walked around some more, wondering who to talk to. She was a little too afraid to start a conversation with someone, but wanted to talk to someone. When will you finally start talking to someone? she asked her. When will you get another good chance like this to talk to another person?
She felt determination surging through her. She was going to do this. NightWolf was going to talk to someone. She noticed that Ry was by herself, so she walked up to her and decided to strike a conversation with her. "U-uh... hello?" she nervously croaked out.

((I'm going to switch NightWolf's PoV color to this because this is an easier color to read.))

Vixen just stared at Aika, dumbfounded for a couple of moments. They unconsciously touched their mask. "I-I... uhm, thanks. My mom made it for me when I was little."

The narrator is totally not lost or whatever, so Ogvyuthijs is just currently preoccupying himself with eating his sandwich separately and saving the bread for last.

Anjo's eyes flicked over to the mask again. "I have to agree that it's beautifully made," he complimented. To Aika, he said, "Do you need help with your brushes?"

Finneas still doesn't know where he is, but he's close to the stage now, so he tries to peer over the crowd and reorient himself. He's thinking he definitely should have stayed in and worked on that card house.

"That's so cool, your mother must be amazing at carving!" she said to Vixen, then turned to Anjo. "I think i'm good, but thank you anyway," she smiled.

Marshall pulled his tie off and slipped it into his pocket. "Those food trucks do seem pretty enticing. What do you think?"

"I, uh... thanks," Vixen mumbled to Anjo, scratching the back of their neck. They turned to Aika and nodded. "She is great at that stuff, yeah."

"Mhm. I'm aware that we aren't super friends or anything, but would you guys want to get something to eat while we wait for the speech to start? Sounds better than being alone to me."

Adeena sighed in agreement. "Yeah... This place is pretty boring. But no, I don't know where to go eat. You got any ideas?"

Aika grinned. "Sure, I'm pretty hungry actually and I do not want to spend the day with my parents, they'll only talk about politics."

Vixen nodded. "I am getting pretty hungry, so sure." At Aika's comment, about her parents, they mumbled, "You're not the only one with parents like that."

Anjo grinned triumphantly. "Then, let's be free from our parents for the time being! Will we choose something sweet, or salty?"

"I'm good with anything, honestly, I just want something chocolate for desert," Aika shrugged and looked at Riven. "Your parents are like that too?"

Nora was echolocating through the crowd looking for Vila, tacos and an imported fruit for herself in hand. "Hey, Ceru! I got you tacos!" she called once she saw her brother.

Robin sighed. "You don't know either?" he said. Suddenly his eyes brightened up and he gave his older sister a small smile. "Pizza. How does that sound?"

"I'm honestly fine with either," Vixen answered with a shrug, before turning to Aika. "Yep. Both of my moms are dutchesses, so they're obsessed with politics."

Ry paused, looking towards NightWolf. "Oh. Hello." She replied, glancing around before returning her gaze back to NightWolf. Nothing else around her piqued any interest, so she figured that talking here was fine. "Wonder how much longer we'll have to wait."
