Fair enough.
I just finished The Pedestrian, and I enjoyed it. Not sure what exactly the ending was conveying, but it was still enjoyable.
I also just saw 0 guests on again.

Finally compiled my volunteer hours. I had less forms than I was expecting, but its more just that what I've done are longer events.
That leaves only two things for me to do before the application bootcamp I have on Monday, which is nice and I don't think the other things will take too long (that's the hope anyways).
It will also be useful for the resume I have to write.

O Fortuna is great.

Oh nice.ย
Is that another game?

It's not- it's a musical piece from Carmina Burana.

Oh then, well classical music is always a win

Finally out of one page land (I decided, for whatever reason, to set my post limit to the maximum (30 I think)) so there's that.ย
On a different note, I hope I'm doing alright with characterization and whatnot in Nevermoor. Also in presenting some sort of mystery.

Classical music is indeed very good.

So there's this thing called DCI and they partner with FloMarching for recording stuff. So, videos of the full shows that the drum corps produce have a tendency to get taken down. As such, the lengths people will go to in avoidance are pretty funny. Sometimes there's an odd effect on a video, but oftentimes it is the titles that are the best part. Often times you will see them with not "corp" and the year. It's honestly amusing and sometimes in the comments people play along with the idea.
I was looking through videos of shows and was just reminded of it.

I remembered I had this picture, and it's been about 2 months of the dinosaur conductor so new profile picture it is.

Well, it consists of hairpins, a hairtie thing that is supposed to help with making buns, and an eye candy. About 2 1/2 years ago, I put the things together as such and that thing was born.
Hopefully that was actually what you were asking.

Ohh I see now. I though it was a large eyeball thing sitting on a chair for some reason.

I feel like this is more entertaining to me than it should be.

I've finally started writing an essay. Not really looking forward to it, but at least it's not a very long one- only supposed to be in the 500-650 word range.
I've now finished it. Don't know if I'll be keeping this version, but it's a start.

I just looked at the reading I have to do for history and it's about 210 pages... This'll be fun.

It's an essay for college applications so it kinda varies per college, but I'm aiming to be done with all my applications by November 1st so yeah. It gets to be edited tomorrow.
I had to write about myself. It wasn't enjoyable.

Oh writing about oneself is hard indeed. Oof.

good luck! with those college apps! I can relate to not wanting to write about oneself but I'm sure you can do this!!

I now have a revised essay and I dislike it less than the original one, so improvement! And there's some room in case I need to be like 'and this is why I'd be a good fit for [school name]' so that's good.
I've attended so many college info sessions this week, and I still have two more to go. I'll have attended 7 at the end of this week (one was a boot camp thing about common app but it's college related so it counts). I get that they're important... but it's a lot.
And thank you!

My band directors FINALLY told us a definitive plan, after a while of just nothing.
Still no clue what our show will be (I think we're having one at least) but we now have virtual summer band, so improvements.

I am now signed up for yet more college visits.
Still need to get all my history stuff done and actually look at what I need to do for my EE.
