"And this is your end." Asphyx grabbed the rebel's swinging arm, yanking it down towards him, and craking his spine with a drive of his knee.
He dodged another blow from another oncoming rebel, and exhaled calmly, sending a kick to the next attacker's neck, and finally stuffing the surrounding smoke into the last rebel's lungs.
This really is pitiful.Β Auric thought as she scanned her attacker's weapons. She decided that it was so pitiful that she was quick to send bolts of light though all their heads at once. Quickly, and efficiently.

((lol brutal))
Then Nyoko stayed silent. She just stood there.

(I'm adding a trigger warning here because what I'm typing is getting very graphic and is very dark and yea just a warning lol. I just realized how dark my posts are)
The teen cried out in pain, his body falling to the ground with the book next to him. He struggled to stand back up, unable to move his legs, but was able to see the teen who got kicked in the neck fall painfully to the ground, not another movement being made from her again.
The other teenager struggled, scratching at her neck and throat as she started to suffocate. With too much panic, the lack of air, and the rush of adrenaline, the suffocating girl passed out, not to get up again. The boy, seeing no escape from this, looked over at Asphyx.
A plea he cried, "Just make it quick." The teen lowered his head, tears dropping to the wooden floor. He couldn't fight anymore. He was paralyzed. He watched his friends die. There wasn't a point to fighting. Behind the boy was someone running up, carrying a teen Ardour had thought was dead. The guy looked like he was going to quickly grab the paralyzed boy and carry him away as well. Had an exit been found?
The bodies dropped, and there was a scream nearby from a kid, an almost teenager, maybe twelve. She paid no attention to Auric but ran up to the elder, sobbing. There was another young adult who ran up to one of the bodies, their eyes wide, shaking their head. They lifted up the hand of the body, trying to find a pulse in vain. They looked up and saw Auric, not realizing that Auric wasn't another meeting member due to the gas blurring their vision.
Without any caution, disregarding the warning from the girl nearby, they started to run up Auric, crying, "Go get help! Why are you standing there?!"
From the side coming towards Auric was another traitor who was aiming to attack.
Ardour was still fighting violently.
Offline
Asphyx spat down with a cold look in his eyes, and moved on, not paying any attention to the other after that, probably to take out the person running for the paralyzed rebel.
Auric sighed and blew a hole through the attacker, and placed her hand onto the chest the rebel that mistook her for another. And in a peaceful way, sucked out the life of the other.
Offline
The person was now close enough to grab the paralyzed teen, picking him up quickly, just catching a glimpse of Asphyx before growling out a profanity. He turned to run, holding both teens close to his body protectively.
The attacker fell, not quite dead yet but in pain. He was able to cough out to Auric a question.
"Why fight for such a cruel king?"
The traitor who had mistaken Auric fell limply to the floor, the most peaceful death so far. There wasn't a sign of significant pain.

Asphyx was thinking of what he should do with that one running past him, but as he spouted that profanity, he knew that he shouldn't be the one.
Asphyx let some smoke thicken. It was so condense, that somehow, it was more physical (idk if that's possible but yea) He sent the rope of smoke to yank down the runner.
"Because it's my job." Auric knelt down and did the same as her previous victim

The runner fell roughly, attempting to stand back up. There was a struggle as he held both teens, the paralyzed one begging for the man to go without him. The one that was injured by Ardour wasn't very responsive, possibly already close to death. The older Glitchian only shook his head and continued to try to go forward, trying to escape and protect the teenagers, despite how futile it would be.
The man had flinched when Auric did so, but his pain was gone now.
It seemed there was possibly twenty, maybe twenty five, traitors left.
There was a few adults, a teen, and a couple children who simply walked up to Auric, no fighting, not even a glance. They just wanted it over with. They knew they wouldn't escape. There was fear still there, but they didn't want to suffer.

Asphyx yanks him back even more.
Auric gave a small, sad, smile as she willingly did the same for all the others. She thought them to be very brave, especially the children.
Offline
The man fell backwards, still holding the teens close. He spat out another profanity at Asphyx, once again trying to stand up. There was tears in his eyes as he did, seeing the dying girl in his arms and the paralyzed boy struggling against him. He just didn't want to give up. He didn't want them to die too.
For now, no one was attempting to attack Auric but the sound of something hitting wood repeatedly could be heard really close to her. It was a heavy sound, and the wood could be heard starting to crack.
Offline
Auric was tensed and turned to the sound of the wood cracking, ready for action.
Asphyx quickly stepped up to the front of the three of them. He was quick to deliver multiple blows to the man.
Offline
Auric could probably see some people trying to break the wall down with some furniture that was in the room. About eight people in all were not giving up.
The man immediately tried to protect the teen's from the blows, taking all of them while glaring at Asphyx.
From behind Asphyx was someone running up to hit him with a chair.
Offline
Auric gave another soft sigh, she raised her hand, and activated bolts of light, quickly sending them for the once-were escapees.
Asphyx blew out the man's guard, to quickly deliver a blow devastating to his neck.
Offline
They fell, the heavy furniture thunking and clattering on them and the ground into a pile of corpses. They had almost broken through the wall, large cracks in it with some chunks falling apart.
There was a snap, a scream coming from the paralyzed teen as the man was killed in front of him. The teen grabbed the hand of the other teen who had somewhat recovered, although she didn't look like she would make it much longer. Her wounds were deep and her entire stomach looked torn open, the girl's breathing was ragged and watery. The paralyzed teen started to try to pull himself and the girl away, shouting at Asphyx as he made his weak, useless attempts to escape.
"Why make us suffer like this?! Why kill us?! Why?! Why?! I don't understand this at all! Why do we have to suffer?! Gods, why?! Why?!"
Offline
"You suffer because you have simply decided to become a traitor to our ruler." Asphyx said, though he decides to not make any attacks or anything towards the pair.
Auric returns to her peaceful killings.

(The paralyzed boy is not the one we're gonna let live btw I realized I kinda made it seem that way lol)
There are barely any left, just five.
An adult fighting Ardour, the two teens near Asphyxiate, a child near Auric, and a teenager far off from everyone in a corner, covering his head and ears.
Ardour overpowered the man, impaling him through the chest then throwing him to the ground. Ardour... lost himself. Simply, Ardour lost himself as there was a moment of Ardour repeating the strikes into the man's chest. Finally, Ardour was done, pulling his staff out slowly then wiping it off. He didn't speak, thinking to himself as one does after committing mass murder.

((The female version of Asphyxiate, Asphixia))
Well, not murder. It's lawful.
((Who would be the last one?))
Offline
(O o f, didn't realize I put Asphyxia lol I fix it later)
Oh, yeah, "lawful".
(Boy in the corner. I was planning to make a hiding character after we decided on letting a character live but I thought now I would make him more visible because yea my bad narration skills screwed us up lol)

((Ok ok then))
Uhh... so slowly, Auric kneeled to the child, and did the same to the others.
Asphyxiate eliminates the two by him.
Offline
The child closed her eyes and let Auric do the job, falling to the floor like the others did after their life was taken away.
Finally, there was one person left: the teenager in the corner. He trembled, pulling at muted green locks of hair with shaky hands, trying to shut out the Elite by keeping his eyes closed.
Ardour had turned away from the others, a dull cracking noise being made and a sigh sounding out. He pulled his mask back up while swallowing his medication, his eyes closed for a moment before he looked over.
"Don't kill him."
(Spec can take over the teen now)

Asphyx and Auric nodded, staying silent as the smoke started to dissipate and clear.

((You two PoVing the brutal murder scene while I'm here like,,,))
The words sounded strange to him. Everyone else there had been violently killed.
Why couldn't he be allowed to join them? WhyΒ he, of all people, had to be left alive?
Maybe they were just tricking him, trying to lead him to a false sensation of hope to crush it at the last moment. Yes, that was probably it. He'd just have to face it all bravely.
He opened one eye and looked up, still shaking in silence.
Offline
Ardour slowly walked over, none of his movements making a sound as he stepped across the old wooden floor.
He stopped a couple feet away from the teen, his eyes sharply glaring.
"Take a good look around at everything," Ardour spoke. It sounded like a command, especially when he added the next part.
"Tell me what you see."
Offline
A soft whimper escaped his throat when he took in the surroundings again.
"A-a massacre... that's what I see."
Offline
Ardour stared at the boy for a moment.
"A massacre... massacre. Someone like you would obviously say that. But, it's lawful, isn't it? A lawful massacre. Have you ever learned of cause and effect? The cause was you and your friends' foolish actions of plotting against our King. The effect was punishment. All of this-"
Ardour pointed across the room at the bodies and blood.
"-is lawful, almost divine, punishment. You all deserved this, you all deserve to die. Hmm..."
"However, I'll allow you to live."
Ardour knelt by the boy, his voice dark as he leaned foward, growling out a cold statement, holding eye contact. Ardour smelt like blood and rotting flesh.
"Just remember that your revolting is pathetic compared to our King's justice. Rebellion against him will not be tolerated. Next time we'll kill you. Understand that, boy?"
