Went back to read old writing by accident (because I needed to scroll through it) and my eyes kinda just,,,
Yeah. They're gone. Bye-bye eyes lol. Should've learned to be like Shaka from the beginning.

I feel like I really need to start to restrict more ideas and stop jotting down absolutely everything when I write.
It's kinda a pro but at some point I feel like I leave too many ends unmet, and that's not very good. If even I'm confused about where my ideas go (if they go anywhere at all), that means that's too many idea directions.

For the first time in a long time I actually wrote when I wanted to.
Of course, it wasn't a "I only wrote" thing, since I was still trying to get over my art phase.
Maybe I should try writing in Chinese to remind my brain how much harder it is lol and convince it to want to write in English a bit more

I wrote a response for a Discussion Board for Of Mice and Men on Google Drive and then transferred to Canvas?
Guess how many words there were?
Is this ironic? I don't know, but I swear I didn't look at word count before (too lazy for that), so...apparently it's just a super coincidence.666 words.

Those 666 words were worth it; my English grade is back up to 100 lol.
Earlier I was kinda stupid on a quiz but yeah, now it's back up xD.Not gonna think about how stupid I was is what I mean.

It's really hard to write a NationStates fanfiction, if you all don't question why I'm writing one in the first place.
Or two. Or four. Or five.
The point is that they're hard to write and to not question what fanfiction I write lol.

The assignment of this half-quarter is to right a research paper about some human rights issue and I had to get my subject approved with my teacher.
I couldn't understand what she meant and she just said "I trust you" on it, which my paranoia is interpreting as "You have reading comprehension issues that you probably will figure out at some point and panic about for 2 days"
Ehhhhh

Usually when someone goes "I trust you" I go, "A poor decision."
But when someone goes "I trust you" in context of either art or drawing that I'm supposed to give them, I go, "Please don't," because if I let them trust me it's a poor decision on my part, not theirs

Time to actually use Instructional Support hours ig lol.
To provide context, I was thinking about exploring gender-related social justice issues. The feedback I received was that I was seemingly talking about two issues.
Now, I still don't understand this, but does that mean I should just focus on male and female inequality? Or can I focus on male, female, pangender, agender, etc., all at once?

So! I used instructional support hours. Compared to my classmates I'm practically a pro with talking with teachers but wow lol that was awkward in terms of the subject.
So apparently we need to conduct an interview for this project and I--fear.
Honestly, I shouldn't be this afraid, since I'd have everything drafted and it's hard to mess up someone's pronouns when you're talking to them, but,,, xD.

Honestly, for the past 4 hours I've been thinking about interviewing one of my friends about, uh, how do I say this? I'm always super awkward when it comes to using terms xD I'm not sure if, uh, I'm saying things appropriately. Transgender experience, especially related to American culture???
I'm honestly leaning towards "no" though. I feel like it's too personal.
Uhhh. Yeah.

Also leaning towards "no" because I feel like I'm a selfish entity; he has a lot of stuff to do in his life and lol I'm here wanting to bother him with an interview just because??? Wow, Galaxian.
But my teacher hasn't really followed up with the interview info she suggested (well, yet, anyways), so...
I mean, an interview isn't required and I suck at them anyways, whether I'm the one asking the questions or answering them. But lol.

idk, did I ever talk about the career project I did in 2018? It's kinda like that, but my interviewee was in another state, so I emailed her. She was really nice, considering how I pulled her email off of the website of the hospital she worked at and, like the brat I was, just went "Hi I need to do a project, would you be willing to do an interview?" with no other contact prior.
She's also still my inspiration tbh.
That's more homethread talk tho xD. My point is that I'm much better at email interviews. But there are rarely people who can type as fast as they think, which also means that I'd be wasting more of their time.

Where was I going with this? I had a point but hours of research hath fried my brain cell lol and also the brain yells I lent earlier.

I feel like this school year has made my writing kind of weird because assignments from school vary from either letting me just go freestyle (e.g. I can use a bit of informal language that I wouldn't typically use, assignments ask for my opinions even though I'm not a professional) or just such an inflexible format that I have no wiggle room.
The problem isn't actually the former, in my opinion--I'm not a very informal writer in the first place. Even if I sling in jokes and stuff, I'm aware of when I need to take that off.
But I don't like the inflexibly formatted assignments. They stress me out to the point I consciously put them off because I don't want to do them.
Like research. What I usually do is take my own notes for my writing and usually schedule when I need to research, draft, work on the bibliography, etc., but right now it's like "do all of your research this week and construct your bibliography, and format your research in this specific template".
I blame myself, sure, for not being intrinsically motivated enough even if I don't like how it's set up, but...yeah. I just don't like working like this at all.

Not going to lie--it makes me kind of proud when I go on Google Drive and the "Quick Access" bar is showing documents that are complete and formatted correctly xD. It's so satisfying to me.
Also why does going on this thread make me want to make even more characters, I--NO. STOP IT, BRAIN. WE ARE NOT WRITING OR DRAWING FORUM!GALAXIAN TOO. NOOOOO.

Well, I'm researching issues that violate transgender rights, but then I get a homophobic article that says gay people shouldn't be allowed in the military because they'll increase sexual crimes and more claims I Do Not Want to Repeat.
