Albert wiped away the soup and rice on his face with a napkin. He looked over his shoulder, momentarily surprised, but his surprise was quickly replaced with a smile. "I won't! Thanks."

"Eh. We'll see." Breach said, remembering that Albert is in fact an NSGP student (probably from before roleplay or something). Maybe he'll see if he'll stick to that all year, or something.

But, however not really wanting to get left behind with the others, Breach turned away and walked to the others at the table, "What's going on here?"

"Nothing much." He said, "There was some kid from our school who was sleeping in his food. I woke him up, but.... seriously? Falling asleep on a day as important as this one?"

"Honestly I don't really get why everyone makes such a big deal about it," Chris said. "But they make a lot of food to celebrate, so I can't complain. I mean, have you seen the dessert table?"

Mackenzie started walking over to the buffet tables. "While we're doing this, do you guys have any recommendations for classes? Trying to figure out which ones I should take."

Chris nodded enthusiastically. "Monster studies and alchemy are fascinating. And I really want to do technomancy next semester. Ooh, is that roast beef?", he veered off towards the serving table.

Mackenzie added to her plate as she went. She chuckled. "Dragon riding sounds cool. So does Monster Studies. I definitely plan on taking a foreign language, but I'm not sure which one." She shrugged. "Maybe Chinese because I already know Japanese and the two share a lot of the same characters, but I'm worried learning Chinese might mess up my understanding of Japanese."
