Appearance: Idéax’s scales are a quite shimmery emerald, even for her species. Considering that she’s never been a rather aggressive duelist, it isn’t surprising. Her horns are slightly more curved than usual, with the left one having a small piece missing at the tip. Complimenting her horns are her finned ears, which have a smaller amount of tears than older serpents. Being rather small, Idéaux looks intimidating in a way that is more “apex predator” than “mythological monster” in human thought. Her stinger, however, shows signs of wear and tear, thanks to its use in hunting and the occasional defense. Finally, she has a golden chain adorned with jewels around her neck, although it isn’t clear whether it was a gift, or whether it was stolen. Being a dragon, however, it might not matter to Idéaux... Personality: Idéaux is a rather compassionate and empathetic dragon. Never the one to kill without reason, she prefers the skill of diplomacy and negotiation over dueling-at-first-sight. Thanks to being hatched far away from mentally-traumatizing scenarios, she’s also a rather curious wyvern, who constantly attempts to ask humans questions about their lives and society. However, being a dragon rather than a human, both her thought process, and sense of morality are a bit different. For example, grabbing a human and dropping them on a cliff to interact isn’t wrong, but not eating a kill, or saving it for leftovers, is. Her alien stubbornness can be detrimental as well, especially in a scenario that completely relies on human formality rather than draconic formality. Finally, when she commits actions that she believes to be good for humans, it can get muddled by her draconic morality and behavior. No matter what she does, or how flawed she is, Idéaux always means well even if it gets lost in translation.
Abilities/Strengths: Physically, Idéaux is strong with stamina, and she is capable of outflying her fellow Vouivres over distance and time. She can sometimes out-maneuver larger and older dragons as well. Most of her strengths, however, are mental and emotional. For one, she’s skilled in negotiating with others to get what she wants without violence (such as single-winged-ly taking over the Republic). Thanks to this skill, she is also good at defusing situations and getting what she wants with the power of diplomacy. Her natural draconic stubbornness helps to keep a negotiation going until she can get the demands she wants. Idéaux is also rather empathetic, and she desires the greater good for everyone, even if it looks a bit odd from a Vouivre perspective. Almost all of her plans are intended well, although they sometimes explode on her. Finally, Idéaux is good at human chess, with her favorite piece being, somewhat morbidly, the knight.
Flaws: For one, Idéaux isn’t strong in a brutish way. When push comes to shove, most larger dragons could beat her in a fight by just pure strength. She’s also rather small for her species, which gives others, including groups of humans, an advantage in a duel. She can also be somewhat un-mindful about humanity at times, and she can accidentally do actions that irritate most humans, even if she intended them to be positive. Her naturally compassionate behavior can also cause her distress, especially if she doesn’t know what to do. Finally, she isn’t always the best at managing stress, like most dragons, and it ca rapidly deplete her health and quality of life.
Fatal Flaw: Hubris. Idéaux sometimes believes she can fix the world by herself (such as her (unfortunately successful) attempt at taking over France). Oftentimes, this can easily backfire on her, especially with her strongest skill, which is diplomacy and “chess-playing” to further equality. 
Backstory: Hatching as an orphan sometime near 1758, Idéaux, unlike some other dragons, never had to see the horrors of human-caused extinction first-hand. Thanks to this, she never grew up with a deep hatred or fear of humans, with a curiosity and wariness replacing it instead. Guviere, who she shared a lair with, constantly tried to change her mind, to no avail. Once the French Revolution began, Idéaux came up with the brilliant idea to take over the French Republic, which, against all odds, she succeeded!  Now, she’s trying to manage her new government, satisfy both her species and humans, and try to keep the world from destroying what she has fought literal tooth and nail to build up.

Trivia: Idéaux and Guivere are related. Her closest human is a former aristocrat named Gilbert. Her favorite food is a good European hare.
