It’s roughly ten at night, and of course, there’s some sort of trouble going on in an alleyway. Some girl with dark purple pigtails and wearing a slightly-small middle school uniform is currently grappling it out with some other girl, clearly older than her. The girl on top of her clawed at the younger’s face, leaving a few scratch marks. A burst of profanity erupted from the younger as she kneed the older, attempting to gain higher ground.
They seem to be going at it, blood and all. Do you interact…?

"Hey!" Jo barked. She'd heard the commotion as she walked down a nearby street, and had darted over to investigate. "What is going on?"

"Shut up!" the younger barked, elbowing the older in the side and freeing herself from the other's grasp. "Hag over here attacked me, I don't care."
The older just rolled her eyes, kicking the younger. "You're awful and you know why you started this fight."

Jayden, who had been walking by, paused when he saw the scene before him. He typed something on his phone and showed it to the fighting girls. "Why are you fighting?"

"Suddenly, I can't read." The girl grinned sarcastically at Jayden before her face dropping back into a scowl as she rubbed her sleeve against her nose, which was bloody.

Jo glared at her, crossing her arms. "He asked why you were fighting. No need to be rude."

"Why d'you care?" Mira said, rolling her eyes. "Don't get involved in my business."
(...Mira's fighter from before seemed to have slinked off.)

Jayden huffed in annoyance at Mira's comment. He typed something again on his phone, but showed it to Jo this time: "I don't think she's going to listen to us. Actions might be better than words in this situation."

Mira stared at the boy with unblinking eyes. "Hey, why don't you just talk?" Mira said, cocking her head to the side. "Y'know, like a normal person?"

If Jayden wasn't annoyed before, he was now. He frowned at Mira with clenched fists. If one looked closely, his gray eyes had a hint of indigo to them. And a strange noise that sounded like rattling chains came from the alleyway's shadows.

Jo was about to shoot back with some sharp retort, but quickly thought better of it. She turned to the younger boy. "Don't pay attention to her, Jayden. She wants you to get angry at her."

Jayden's hands loosened at Jo's words. He took a deep breath. She's right. Violence won't solve anything here. He typed on his phone again and showed it to Mira. "Ever heard of selective mutism? That's why I don't talk like a 'normal person.'"
