Appearance: Monarch has dull blond hair often fashioned into a singular, loose braid. Despite her dull blond hair, Monarch has vibrant blue butterfly wings. Their pattern resembles that of a monarch butterfly's, and from the tip of the wing to the bottom of the wing are about 5' tall. Since Monarch stands at about 5'6", her wings are only half a foot shorter than the skinny girl. She has a light complexion that tans under the sun, and dull gray eyes. 
Clothing Preference: Monarch enjoys wearing simplistic clothing, such as a plain white blouse, black pants, and light blue flats. She has a silver bracelet, which is always worn on her left hand, to represent her house. 
Personality: Monarch is neither shy nor outgoing, but rather, somewhere just in-between. She's confident with herself. However, Monarch is very much a perfectionist, and often struggles to get something just right. She obsesses over things easily, and has a tendency to get mad or upset quickly. The girl is very smart and has always had high grades. She loves the idea of getting to meet people from different tribes at Jade Mountain Academy.

Power{s}: Just as every SilkWing is able to, Monarch is able to shoot strands of silk out of her wrists. Per every day, she is able to make about two miles worth of webbing. The less food she has, the less silk she's able to make. She can only shoot as far as five feet away.

Appearance: Kurodo has wiry white blonde hair, almost white, that is parted mostly to the right side of his face. His narrow pale cyan blue eyes give off a cold and almost harsh look, adding to his narrow face. His skin is paler than fair, with no freckles. Korudo is about 6’2”, lean and toned. His wings are white, with silverly membranes and short cyan blue IceWing horns that look like a crown and a white and silvery scaled tail with the IceWing spikes. The underside of his wings have small, faint white spots that are like snowflakes. He also has white scales on the top of his hands and shoulders/shoulder blades.
Clothing Preference: He mostly wears a white tunic with a pale light blue vest with a silver belt, in the middle of his small silver buckle is a rhombus-shaped jade stone. He wears silver knee-high boots that have a snowflake design in the front near the top, and silvery pale blue outlining. He also wears a white cape that stops at his mid-calf or that is three-quarters length. He also wears a silver ring on his right hand, but is covered most of the time with his glove. He also has a small silver snowflake brooch that connects the collars of his tunic together. His gloves are silver with a silvery pale blue outline on the bottom edge.

Personality: Everyone’s first impression of Korudo is arrogant, cold, and aloof because he looks like he’s looking down on everyone. Well, he actually does treat everyone in a harsh and cold personality. But when he’s alone, or thinks he’s alone, he actually feels alone, lost, hated, and pained by his past. He hates his powers and wished he didn’t have any. He is constantly haunted by his memories and nightmares therefore rarely getting sleep but not looking it and staying pretty sane. He can, however, get soft and actually kind towards someone, even protecting/standing up for them if he truly, which is…rare, cares for them. But he knows, because of his outward demeanor to everyone, that he’ll never get a friend, one he cares for with his life. It’s not like he blames them for staying away from him for though he slightly doesn’t like it, he feels it’s for the best to protect everyone from him.

Power: He doesn’t really like using his powers since it gives him a sickening feeling (due to his past), therefore rarely doing it. However, he is pretty good using it, but he keeps it a secret, even training himself in secret. But when he uses his powers, they actually give him throbbing headaches and sometimes, bad memories or nightmares when he sleeps. He is almost at where he can use his powers to an hour, but as he pushes it, it gets harder to control so he can only do 45 minutes max.

Appearance: Nami has long wavy light blue hair, with highlights of pale green, that reaches just below her mid back, which she often puts it in a high ponytail or pigtails, sometimes letting it down but slightly tied back and sometimes have strings of pearls twined around her hair, and has pale green eyes. She is about 5’3”, with a slender body so she can swim and maneuver under the water easily. Her wings are turquoise, with pale blue membranes and white wave designs on the underside of her wings and white luminescent scales. She has turquoise luminescent scales that dot her cheeks, making it resemble freckles.
Clothing Preference: She mostly wears a tight white or cream colored sleeveless shirt with a pearl white belt and tight blue-ish-white pants that reach her mid-calfs, wearing white sandals. She also occasionally wears either a silver circlet that has a quartz jewel in it or a silver chain necklace with a quartz jewel in between two pearls.

Personality: Nami is on the quiet and shy side, yet kind and loyal. Whenever she talks it’s like you need a hearing aid to hear her, turned up on HIGH volume. She just speaks so softly and quietly. This is because she is very shy of other people, not wanting to be in large groups or in the spotlight so she is often alone. However, when you become her friend, she’ll be extremely loyal to you, being there when you need her to be, even if she doesn't like it, she’ll stay by your side. Though she’s quiet and shy to others, she is not when around animals and children, no matter what type they are. Her kindness to them is gentle and welcoming, which have made her have lots of animal friends and young friends(children). She hates conflict and will shrink back, but if she has to, then she’ll stay by a friend’s side loyally, supporting her friend in any way she can. Because of her personality, Nami is rarely seen smiling, but when she’s having a good time, whether being alone or with someone, she smiles and even laughs.

Powers: Though Nami can manipulate water, her specialty is creating vapors/fogs/mists. When she uses one or all of them, she can sense whoever is in the cloudy element and even decipher exactly who it is by sensing their own powers. She can only do this for five minutes at a time though, before she has to take a five to ten minute break before using them again.

*Backstory: Nami has always been an orphan, left alone by parents and had to fend for herself. She found her love for animals when they helped her survive and she would sometimes go to a local village to go to the library to read on her own. She can read in almost any language, and is sometimes able to figure out what the animals are saying/wanting just by their gestures and sometimes sounds. One day, she was reading out loud to a small group of orphaned children and animals when she anonymously received the letter from the school. She wasn’t so sure, but the children and animals wanted her to go so she could (hopefully) make new friends.

Name: Zaffre Caldeira

Appearance: Zaffre has fluffy black hair that can look like a very dark blue in sunlight. His eyes are seafoam-colored. Zaffre has tanned, brown skin, a scrawny build, and is 5’5”. His wings are black, and the membrane fades from a shade of black to a shade of indigo at the ends. He has more of the trademark silver scales of NightWings near the bottom of his wings, and his bioluminescent scales trace the silver scales like constellations. He also has gills on his neck.
Clothing Preference: Zaffre tends to wear a navy blue trench coat with plain shirts underneath, usually either a gray shirt or a seafoam-colored one. He wears either jeans or khaki pants, and he wears either sandals, sneakers, or boots on his feet. He usually carries a sketchbook in his trench coat. His house accessory is a silver bracelet with teal, wavy designs engraved into it. He usually wears this bracelet on his left arm.
Personality: Zaffre is a rather awkward and shy person. He tends to stutter a bit when he talks and is easily overwhelmed when many people are paying attention to him. He’s a coward, too -- he would rather run away from a fight then get pulled toward one. Zaffre is also a rather curious and intelligent person, with an interest in studying animals and nature, especially sea life. If someone mentions an aquatic animal, he will most definitely ramble on about it and spit out a ton of random facts about said animal. He also gets really intrigued about mysteries, which is why he loves reading mystery novels.
House: Silver
Powers: Zaffre can breathe underwater with his gills, like a pure SeaWing. However, he cannot withstand the pressures of the ocean as well as a full SeaWing can. Instead of manipulating water, he can create electric pulses like a NightWing. He has not been able to figure out how to fire electricity at long range, however; he can just cover certain parts of his body with electricity. If he covers his whole body with electricity, he can stay that way for up to three minutes before he passes out.

Backstory: Zaffre never really remembered his parents. He had lived in an orphanage on one of the islands of the Bay of A Thousand Scales with a couple of other young SeaWings. While most of the orphans were playing together, Zaffre would explore the waters around the island and draw some of the creatures he saw on the beach. He recieved a letter from Jade Mountain Academy and decided to attend.

Appearance: Alex’s chin-length hair is a bit strange for a SkyWing -- it’s a very pale orange, almost blonde, and her eyes are amber. Her skin has a paler tone and her build has lean muscle, with her standing around 5’7”. She doesn’t have many freckles on her face, but she does have a lot on her arms and legs. Her wings are crimson-colored and are rather large. She has dark brown horns, too; the curvy, long horns of a typical SkyWing.
Clothing Preference: Alex tends to wear more casual clothing, like button-up shirts, plain and graphic t-shirts, ripped jeans and khakis, and either sneakers or combat boots. She also wears a red cloak from time to time. Her house accessory is a gold chain necklace.
Personality: Alex is a bit of a rebel. She’s reckless, has a bit of a temper and can be rather cocky. She is often pretty prideful and sassy, even though she’s tends to be quiet and doesn't usually like starting conversations. She likes to spar and sometimes work on her blacksmith skills in her free time. If she’s offered a battle or an adventure, she will most definitely leap at the chance to go. She doesn't like listening to others, though, and she can sometimes overlook things. She also acts like a laid-back older sister figure to her friends.
House: Gold
Power{s}: Alex has a high heat resistance and can conjure and manipulate fire, like most SkyWings. The fire she creates has a distinctive crimson hue to it. She can blast a jet of fire from about six feet away. She can also create small fires in the palm of her hand. Manipulating already existing flames is something she struggles with, however.

*Backstory: Alex lived in a village between the SkyWing kingdom and the MudWing kingdom. There, she lived with her parents, who were pretty overbearing and strict. They didn’t like her to leave the house unless she went to her job as an apprentice to a MudWing blacksmith, who taught Alex how to fight and how to forge weapons. When she received a letter to go to Jade Mountain Academy, her parents were hesitant for her to go. However, with the help of her MudWing mentor, Alex managed to convince her parents to let her go.

Appearance: Kuro has slightly spiky, wiry black hair with deep dark blue eyes, looking dark navy, his hair slightly covering his left eye.  His eyes are slightly narrow, but have a kind look to them. He has tanned skin, with no freckles. Kuro is about 5’9”, toned and average built. His wings are black abyss, with very dark navy blue, almost black, membranes. The underside of his wings are also black, with slightly lighter black, gray, and silver specks. He also has black horns from the top of his head, a silver and dark navy blue teardrop scale at the corner of his eyes, and black scales on the upper parts of his arms and shoulders.
Clothing Preference: He wears a completely black outfit, with a dark navy blue vest over his black tunic that he wears the sleeves three-quarters rolled up, wearing black knee-high boots with a dark navy outlining over his dark gray pants with a navy stripe on the sides. He also wears a lighter black belt with a black star belt buckle, where the inside of the star is gold. He also wears a black cape with a hood--which can also somewhat hide his horns--which is about three inches above the ground. He wears black leather gloves, with gold rings around his wrist to ”hold”(I guess) his gloves in place. 

Personality: Kuro is adventurous and bold. At first, he seems like a laid back, carefree yet nervous wreck kind of guy. Always hanging out near the wall, looking around with lazy-looked eyes. But he actually is friendly, to a certain extent, and nice. He’s also pretty protective over those he considers his friends, and will even stand up for them. He loves trying new things and exploring. But deeper inside, he is actually a nervous wreck. With his moon born powers, it’s actually sometimes made him unstable to where he can’t be his usual self; adventurous and carefree therefore trying to hide his powers from everyone.Okay, tweaking a bit, Kuro is actually by nature nervous and a bit self-conscious about himself and his powers. He tries to be firm in what he believes is right, trying to prevent others from getting hurt or making the wrong decisions. He only acts bold and adventurous for he doesn’t want others to get suspicious or pick on him for reasons besides ones he’s already heard. 

House: Gold  

Power: Most of the time, he just spins a ball of lightning over his finger or above his palm. He does this for only five minutes at a time, but each time, they get slightly weaker than the one before it. He can also transfer his lightning to anything, mostly weapons, he’s holding, though it drains his energy fairly quickly. Blasting his lightning doesn’t drain his energy as fast, but he can only do it for 45 minutes, shooting it as far as ten yards away, before his whole body starts going into violent tremors. When using his powers, his eyes flicker with bolts flashing the whole time he uses them. He is also a mind reader and a seer, though it constantly gives him headaches to hear outside thoughts, whether he controls them or not. It worsens the closer he is to someone or touching them. When thoughts are all frightful and panicky, it can cause him to have a headache so bad he can’t move and will often curl up. Being a seer isn’t as bad as he imagined, but it still gives him splitting headaches and cramps.

Name: Kira Sundari
*Nickname: Ra-Ra (just her brother)

Appearance: Kira has olive colored skin and dark magenta eyes. She stands at about 5’5 and has a slightly athletic build. Her sunset colored hair (look it up it’s really cool hehe) is wavy, and about shoulder length. She has curved, dark purple horns and her tail is about the same color. Since she’s a RainWing, the color of her wings changes, but she usually keeps them the same hues as her hair, with the main color being a dark purple, the membranes being some sort of orange or pink, and the accents following suit. 
Clothing Preference: Kira usually wears some sort of t-shirt tucked into jean shorts with either high-tops of some kind or combat boots, along with an oversized black bomber jacket that goes past her shorts. She always wears a belt with slots to store her spray paint bottles or airbrushes. Her clothes usually have paint somewhere on them. As for her house accessory, Kira wears an anklet adorned with various jade charms.
Personality: Kira has an artistic flair, and is primarily driven with the desire to express herself through art. She’s gravitated towards street art, and usually has spray paint or airbrushes with her. She hates following instructions/rules she doesn’t agree with, and also dislikes secrecy.  She’s incredibly protective and loyal to those she cares about, which sometimes leads her to make stupid decisons. Whenever inspiration strikes her, she tends to paint on whatever there is at hand (i.e. spray painting designs on the walls).

Power{s}: In terms of manipulating plants, Kira’s not great at it, but does her best work on flowers, since she sees that the flowers can be art in themselves.

*Backstory: Growing up, Kira hated the lazy nature of her tribe. Her mother was very cold towards her, so her older brother took on more of a mentor role and taught her how to do all sorts of art. He also taught her how to fight. When Kira was 9, she and her brother moved to Sanctuary and they started a new life there. Her brother eventually met another dragon, and Kira lived with their family until she got her letter.

Appearance: Simo looks somewhat intimidating, standing at 6'3'', with a broad chest and muscular arms from working in the forge. His face often defaults to a seemingly brooding expression, even when he's relaxing or resting. He has medium length black hair which is usually wild and unkempt, and thick eyebrows. His eyes are black with flecks of gold, and his wings are a plain brown. 
Clothing Preference: Simo is used to warmer temperatures, so he gets cold easily. Even in summer, he usually wears a leather jacket over a polo shirt, tank top, and jeans. In winter he wears a thick brown wool coat. Around his neck he wears a small iron chain with a copper pendant in the shape of a blacksmith's hammer.
Personality: In contrast to his appearance, Simo is a very friendly and jovial person. Highly extroverted, he will strike up a conversation with anyone about anything. Simo typically speaks plainly and sincerely, and is prone to bursts of raucous laughter when he finds something funny. Simo hasn't had much of a formal education before coming to Jade Mountain, but he is surprisingly intelligent and a quick learner.

Powers: Simo is a gifted metalsmith. With the proper tools and enough time and materials, he can craft almost anything. However, he hasn't practiced other powers, so his abilities outside the forge are limited to simply detecting nearby metal. Simo has developed a resistance to high temperatures and can withstand short bursts of flame unscathed, though he's not completely invulnerable and continuous exposure to fire for more than a few minutes will start to hurt him.

Backstory: Simo was the son of the village blacksmith, and from a young age, he was fascinated by his father's work. At first Simo's father humored him by giving him simple jobs to do, but he soon began teaching his son in earnest. Simo had a natural talent for metalwork and was eager to learn. When he turned 13, Simo was granted an apprenticeship at the Smiths' Guild, where he learned from the finest metalworkers of the Mudwing Tribe. He continued studying at the Guild until he received an invitation to Jade Mountain, and while he was reluctant to leave, the local guildmaster encouraged him to attend.

Appearance: Posy has pale skin and light blue eyes. She’s about 5”3 and has a relatively petite build. Her long, wavy black hair with forest green streaks is usually up into loose space buns. She has curved, dark horns flecked with green and gold and her darker tail, also flecked with green and gold, ends in a spiky leaf shape. Her wings are bug-like, like those of a HiveWing’s, but shaped more like leaves and with a greenish tinge. Posy also wears round glasses, since her eyesight is absolutely terrible.
Clothing Preference: Posy’s style is pretty loose and not at all like the extravagant nature of her hive. She typically wears oversized sweaters or some form of nicer t-shirt, along with leggings, drawstring shorts, or belted shorts. She likes white shoes, primarily sneakers, but will sometimes wear combat boots. She owns this jean jacket that her mother embroidered for her, which she wears on occasion. Her house accessory is a wire ring with a jade bead in the middle. 
Personality: Posy’s like that supportive mom friend who’s always there for you. She cares deeply for her friends and considers them to be family. People tend to come to her for advice, which she always has, and she enjoys helping people through their problems. However, she usually prioritizes other people’s problems over her own. She has very low self esteem and almost no idea of self worth, so she tends to put up a front of happiness and never tells anyone about her emotions. Playing and listening to music is somewhat of an outlet for her, and it helps her to feel better about herself. 
House: Jade House
Power{s}: Posy inherited abilities from both her parents, although one is significantly weaker than the other. While she does have the power to paralyze people with her tail, it barely works and only lasts for a few minutes. But, she’s much more practiced in speaking to plants and quite enjoys it.

*Backstory: Posy grew up with her HiveWing mother in Jewel Hive, where she developed her love for music. She looked enough like a HiveWing to pass as one, and due to the fancy nature of the hive, she was able to hide the fact that she was part LeafWing. As she got older, she started to meet with her father to practice her LeafWing abilities while continuing to maintain her HiveWing persona at the hive. She got her letter soon enough, and both of her parents agreed it would be best if she didn’t have to pretend about her identity anymore.
