As Echo was scratching behind Lyre's ear, he tried to turn and nip at her fingers, playfully.
"What are you speaking anyways? I don't think I ever asked that." Time asked, crossing his arms.
Offline
Echo didn't mind this, laughing a bit. She reached into her bag and pulled out a tennis ball, holding it up to Lyre.
Echo replied simply, "Glitchian."
Offline
((Ngl I have forgotten if Echo ever told Time about Glictians))
"Mhm."
Lyre's eyes sparkled at the sudden appearance of the tennis ball, and now was attempting to nip at that.
Offline
(she told a little, like the names of the dimension. And The War too, but she hasn't spoke about anything culture wise)
Echo set the ball down so Lyre could play with it.
"Do you speak more than one language?"
Offline
"Not normally." Time said, walking and sitting down in a chair.
Lyre immediately started to gnaw on the ball and paw it around the hardwood floor.
Offline
"What can you speak?" Echo asked, watching Lyre play with the ball.
Offline
"The one we're speaking right now."
Offline
"Any others?"
Offline
"As I said, not normally."
Offline
"Not normally?" Echo looked confused due to the phrase.
"So you only speak one language?"
Offline
"I only speak one." Time confirms, then stands up and walks to one of the bookshelves, "Magic is my forte." Seems like his explanation to her confusion.

Echo didn't quite view magic as having its own language, but somewhat understood what he meant now.
"How long have you've been studying magic?"

Time shrugs, "I dunno. A while, at least."
Offline
"You're really good at it," Echo said, amazed. The way she is imagining "a while" is a very short time frame.
"Are all those books magic books?"
Offline
"What? No." Time scoffed, "Who only reads books on magics and reads spellbooks? That would probably be a bore."
Offline
Echo shrugged, "I dunno, it sounds fun to me. What other books you have, then?"
Offline
Time looks a bit tested as if the answer was very obvious, however, that's probably how he looks for every question asked to him, "...Normal books?"
Offline
"Well, duh, but what are they about? Like, the genre and stuff like that?"
Offline
"Is that stuff really that important to you?"
Offline
"No, but I was curious to know... Sorry..."
Offline
"Mhm. Whatever then."
Offline
Echo looked back to Lyre, now quiet.
Offline
Lyre was still pawing around with the tennis ball.
"... Some of it is history books," Time said after a moment of silence.
Offline
"History is cool! What kind of history is it about?" Echo asked. She was a bit hesitant to do so, though.
She tried to get the ball from Lyre so she could roll it for Lyre to chase.
Offline
"I dunno. It's just history."
Lyre bit onto the ball and tried to tug it away from Echo.
