"Too bad. You showed at least some importance to your eye, or whatever." He said, "I gotta know now."

Echo mentally screamed.
"Uhm, well, I dunno, uh-" Echo stammered, trying to find a way to not show her eye. "Well, uh, it's just gross, you wouldn't want to see it."
Echo shook her head.
"No, you wouldn't want to see it, it's not very good-looking."
Offline
"What kinda excuse is that. Makes me wanna see more."
Offline
Echo sighed.
"You're... you're not going to give up, are you? No matter what I say to refuse, you're just gonna ask again?"
Offline
"What's so bad about it anyway?"
Offline
"It's hideous," Echo touched the side of her face lightly, cringing as if it brought her pain. "Absolutely disgusting in how it resembles her."
Offline
"Ah, I see." He said, "Now let's take a look, he moves to be parallel to her, and not sitting on the cave wall, "Lets take a look at what we got."
Offline
"W-what?!"
Echo tried to move away, realizing that she was already sitting against the wall and that going left or right weren't good options, and going forward was a horrible option.
Echo brought her hands up, saying, "No, no, no, no! No thank you!"
Offline
"Hey, chill out." Time said, "I have a bit of a specialty in this area."
Offline
"Huh?"
Offline
"You know, specialty." He said, "I can help out here."
Offline
Echo slowly put her hands down.
"Help?"
Offline
"What's so hard to comprehend?"
Offline
"How can you help?"
Offline
"Shh, it's a secret."

Echo squinted at Time, then sighed.
"Fine..."
Echo quickly adjusted her hair to reveal her eye.
The "eye whites" were black, a silver-blue iris almost glowing in the darkness of the cave. Around her eye, on the upper and lower eyelid and cheek bone, was deep scratch marks obviously made from fingernails. The skin was red and bruised, painfully so. On her skin there was some scarring under the newer scratches, possibly unable to return to it's original colouring at this point.
It looked very... painful. The more recent scratches couldn't have been done more than a few days ago.
Echo's eyes adjusted as she blinked a few times, not used to using both eyes.

"So... does it hurt?" Time asked, narrowing his eyes to analyze both the eye itself and the scratches.
Offline
"...Yea..."
It seemed that none of the cuts are infected. In fact, some of the bruising is possibly from harsh scrubbing from a cloth.
Echo didn't make eye contact with Time, wanting to cover her eye back up.
Offline
"But why does it hurt?" He questioned, "Is it your doing?"
Offline
"...Yea..."
Offline
"All of it? Hm?" He asked, "So it wouldn't hurt?"
Offline
"...The scratches hurt..." Echo answered, rubbing her arm. "All of the scratches... are from me, uhm, because... because I don't want to see it anymore. Maybe if I scratch it out then... then it'll go away..."
She didn't realize she had reached up to her face while talking and quickly put her hand back down.
Offline
"Hm." Time leaned back, crossing his arms, "What did your siblings say?"
Offline
"They... don't know about it."
Offline
"Why would you even show it to me then?" Time looked confused, "Whatever. Anyways. Tell me of what have you done to solve it."
