Sketchy Schemes because my ideas are rarely completely developed.
Also because alliteration, and sketches = art.
Anyways, welcome to this thread .
I want to keep my actual art pieces thread and this one apart, because one is for true art and that sort of things while this one is mostly for me to talk about my art-related stuff. And projects too. People generally have writing projects, and while I do too, my art projects are more of a reality than my writing ones.

Anyways, here I will talk about art. Stuff like color combinations, preferences, ideas, character design (because that is a form of art and nobody can convince me otherwise), complaints about a laggy drawing tablet plus Corel, and etc.
Oh, and you can also leave art requests here! I'm always looking for stuff to draw, so yeah!
Art request status: Open

To begin with, I will say that I draw in both digital and traditional. I'm a whole lot better at doing traditional art though. I just lack practice in digital art, since I'm not able to do it as often as I would like to.

Markers have always been my favorite coloring medium, and I have a bunch of Copics which I have overused to the last drop.
Yeah, like 3/4 of them are dry now xD and once can't color like that. At the moment I can't get refills, which is a pity. They're also insanely expensive here but let's not mention that.
So, I'm currently using coloring pencils for my art.

I forgot to say this in the first post but I will let you know that I will probably get a little off-course from talking about just art at some point in this thread.
Don't worry though. It shouldn't last long if I do it ;)

Me: My art projects are more of a reality than my writing ones.
My current main art project:Β
At this rate, it will be finished in like ten years.

The thing about this project is that I have 20+ people waiting to see it as I release it lol.

This art project is a comic of sorts, though maybe the term graphic novel describes it better?
I'm more focused on the art and expressionsΒ than the text and stuff. Even the plot/story is very simple, and not planned to be long.
I'll talk ab this later when I can type more.

The whole idea started when I was designing "fairytale-ish" sonas with my friends. We were just having fun and I had an idea for a story in a world which would be a mix between a medieval life and fairy tales.Β
Right now, I'm not sure of if it is even medieval XD but it has fantasy elements without going to an extreme.

These are the first two pages/first full page of the comic. I know I've posted it before on the GGaD wikia, but I translated this. Kinda. The original version with my actual handwriting is in Spanish haha and it is Bad.

Anyways, it's not high quality or anything. I began actually doing the thing for my friends, and it turned out that they were very interested XD so I kept going.
I have two more pages. The art quality of those is a whole lot better than this one.
Offline
I draw the full pages at a rate of like... one per three months or more.
That page above was drawn exactly a year ago iirc.

Uhh I don't know if anyone is reading this, but if you are, would you like me to translate and post the rest of the pages I have?
At the moment the last panel I've drawn is kind of a cliffhanger I guess, but it's not too large.Β
I should probably return to drawing. I have drafted out three tiny panels for the fourth full page.

If you'd like to, I think I've seen this comic strip before, actually

^ what Time said, but a translation would be nice :D reading your translation, it seems like I actually was able to get the gist of the Spanish version that you posted
also I don't know if I said this the last time you posted it but the artwork is adorable

Yes, I have posted this on GGaD wikia before! It wasn't translated then though.
I should continue doing it so I don't post the same things over and over tbh xD
About the art, thank you! It's what I call my "simplified style". It's not exactly chibi, but it is an easier version of my actual style which I use because it's easier to do.
I have drawn the characters in my true style though. I like their designs.
Offline
I need a style like that as well. Yeah.

I'm not sure of how I came up with mine. It's kinda similar imto my first ever style tbh, with rounded hands and feet. The characters are not as chubby as in chibi though. I keep most proportions I think.
The hair has quite a bit of detail too.
It's based on small, quick, curvy strokes, so that's why the lines are a little round.

Figuring out how to draw the stone background was fun. I improvised, and since the first attempt looked good, I kept the way of doing it.
I don't sketch the backgrounds a lot. I draw the stone texture after everything else has been inked.
Offline
I draw the characters first, and then the "NPCs" (Idk another way to say it atm xD). After that I draw the background.
You could say I go in order from front to back.

That moment when the only decent thing you can draw are eyes and even those are not congruent
